Develop manufacturing build plans, routings, job travelers, and bills of materials from engineering drawings. Review designs for manufacturability, resolve production issues, support engineering changes, and coordinate build sequencing across production and materials teams. Identify tooling and fixturing opportunities, implement lean and continuous-improvement initiatives, and ensure accurate technical documentation. The role requires aerospace manufacturing experience, drawing interpretation, GD&T knowledge, and proficiency with ERP and office software.

Oversee supply chain, procurement, logistics, vendor management, and material control for aerospace programs. Negotiate vendor pricing and delivery terms, manage 3PL and shipping relationships, maintain ERP and vendor data, execute sourcing activities, monitor inventory and supply chain metrics, mitigate procurement risks, and ensure contract-compliant material delivery. The role partners with Engineering, Planning, and Program Management to optimize project spending and schedules.

Leads multidisciplinary aerospace mechanical engineering teams through full product development lifecycles. Responsibilities include designing and analyzing systems and components, producing drawings and technical documentation, resolving design issues, reducing manufacturing time, reviewing team work, mentoring engineers, and managing budget, quality, and schedule deliverables. The role requires collaboration with planning, production, and quality teams, extensive production-floor interaction, and domestic and international travel supporting product design and implementation.

Read and interpret mechanical drawings, layout and cut sheet metal, operate fabrication equipment and hand/power tools, identify aluminum alloys, drill/countersink holes, install rivets/fasteners, maintain work orders and parts tags, and follow production instructions to produce high-quality aircraft sheet metal components.
