The role interfaces with customers, manufacturing, suppliers, and management, while also training employees and supporting lean manufacturing initiatives.

Support quotation, development and continuous improvement of electronics manufacturing processes. Provide technical production support (SMT, soldering, assembly, test), design routings, specify equipment, create work instructions, monitor process KPIs, interpret PCB/PCBA and mechanical drawings, manage ECR/ECO implementation, and work with quoting, sales, and program management on labor estimates.

Lead and support quality management systems using statistical analysis, lean methods, and continuous improvement. Interface with customers and manufacturing on quality requirements, generate reports, audit processes, manage PPAP/PPFs/FMEAs, and drive corrective actions (8D/7D) to closure.

Manages RFQ, new product introduction, and customer product transfer programs.
