Lead end-to-end program management for satellite systems from concept through on-orbit operations. Own scope, schedule, cost, risk, and EVM-based performance tracking; coordinate cross-functional teams, engage customers and suppliers, run programmatic and technical reviews, mentor program managers, and support proposal and contract activities to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Serve as a cross-project senior technical authority for Kepler's satellite missions. Review and validate system architectures, lead technical assessments for lifecycle milestones, identify systemic risks, mentor systems engineers, support mission definition and proposals, and advise leadership on technical readiness and risk. Provide independent oversight, anomaly support, and clear guidance to ensure consistent, rigorous satellite systems engineering across programs.

Lead payload management and systems engineering for multi-supplier satellite missions. Interface with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to define interfaces, requirements, CONOPS, test plans, and verification. Drive mission analysis, integration, risk mitigation, validation, and early operations planning while mentoring junior engineers.

Lead systems engineering for spacecraft and space-system programs: define architectures, translate mission requirements, manage interfaces and technical budgets, perform trade studies and risk analyses, drive verification and test campaigns, support integration/commissioning and operations, mentor engineers, and apply MBSE and AI-enabled tools to improve engineering workflows and deliver program technical products.

Support satellite and payload development by performing mission and system analyses, maintaining requirements and interface documentation, supporting payload integration, verification planning, testing, and operations readiness, coordinating cross-functional teams, and producing technical budgets and reports under senior engineer guidance.

Provide independent software product and quality assurance for satellite programs: develop SPA/SQA strategy, assess software safety and risks, audit processes, oversee V&V and change control, evaluate suppliers, and support mission readiness and anomaly investigations.

Work on FPGA firmware for satellites and ground stations: maintain and extend FPGA code (SystemVerilog), design custom IP, add sensor/communication interface support (SPI, I2C, UART), and implement/test SDR and SDN control with high-speed interfaces like JESD204b, 10G Ethernet, and Aurora.

Operate and maintain Kepler's satellite constellation, perform LEOP and commissioning, resolve anomalies, analyze performance, develop/improve procedures and automation tools, support launches, and participate in on-call shift rotations to ensure continuous service.

Design, develop, and maintain high-reliability embedded software for spacecraft and ground systems. Implement secure communications, low-level drivers and kernel components, automated tests and validation tooling, participate in architecture and code reviews, troubleshoot cross-functional issues, and mentor junior engineers to improve system performance and reliability.

Drive technical reviews, trade studies, risk closure, stakeholder alignment, and mentor engineering teams to ensure integration, mission readiness, and delivery across subsystems and suppliers.

Design, implement, and automate test procedures, fixtures, and software for PCBs, subassemblies, and systems. Develop test plans, execute prototype bring-up and debug, perform root-cause analysis, provide DFT feedback, and collaborate with electrical, firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure product reliability and testability.
