Kepler Communications is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to join our executive team. This pivotal role involves leading the development and execution of the company's commercial strategy, sales growth, and ensure overall business success. The CCO will oversee and integrate the product, marketing, strategy, and business development functions to align with the company’s overarching objectives. 


Reporting directly to the CEO, the CCO will collaborate closely with executive leadership to ensure that commercial efforts are strategically aligned with the company’s long-term goals. 



Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Strategy Development:

  • Craft and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer acquisition. 
  • Work in partnership with the CEO, executive team, and leadership to ensure alignment between commercial strategies and overall business goals. 

Product Management:

  • Develop a product strategy that aligns with company goals and market trends, overseeing the entire product lifecycle from ideation to post-launch support. 
  • Review market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and risks, driving product differentiation and innovation. 
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and operations teams to ensure successful product execution. 
  • Champion the voice of the customer, ensuring products meet customer needs and deliver exceptional user experiences. 
  • Manage product budgets and P&L to meet financial targetsdriving revenue growth while balancing the need for profitability. 

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and revenue streams. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, clients, and partners. 
  • Collaborate with business unit leaders to explore new markets, services, and delivery methods. 

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Build and lead a high-performing commercial team, offering mentorship and growth opportunities. 
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. 
  • Ensure seamless execution of commercial strategies through effective cross-functional collaboration. 

Marketing, Industry Analysis & Insights:

  • Lead the development of marketing plans aimed at business growth. 
  • Oversee direct marketing activities and provide leadership in all marketing efforts, including branding and communication for new product and service launches. 
  • Identify and implement strategic marketing initiatives and partnerships. 

Risk Management & Compliance:

  • Assess and mitigate risks related to commercial operations, pricing, contracts, and market fluctuations. 
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. 

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the commercial budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation. 
  • Monitor and control expenditures to meet financial targets, providing regular updates to the executive team. 

Performance Monitoring:

  • Implement systems to monitor KPIs, sales forecasts, and financial targets. 
  • Report regularly to the executive team on progress, identifying areas for improvement. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field;
  • 8+ years of experience in a senior commercial leadership role with a proven track record of driving sales growth and market expansion in satellite communication or similar technology field. 
  • Strong experience in developing and executing successful commercial strategies. 
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically. 
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a proven ability to drive innovation in a growing company. 
  • Experience in the technology, communications, or related industries is a plus. 
  • Experience in consulting, professional services, or relevant industry sectors. 
  • Proven experience in marketing, mergers, acquisitions, and business development. 
  • In-depth understanding of U.S. and international market dynamics.
