Own Kaizen’s communications strategy across press, events, campaigns, and federal stakeholder engagement. Lead major announcements, serve as the primary media contact, manage PR agencies and paid media, ghostwrite founder communications, coordinate events, and support outreach to congressional and administration stakeholders. Maintain consistent brand messaging across channels while measuring campaign performance and translating government technology into compelling narratives.

Owns the full sales cycle across U.S. combatant commands, including prospecting, account planning, demos, proposals, negotiations, and closing. Builds relationships with command leadership and program offices, navigates rapid acquisition pathways such as OTAs and urgent operational needs, and develops a repeatable growth strategy across multiple commands. Requires extensive Department of War and COCOM experience, enterprise sales success, independent software demonstrations, and significant domestic and international travel.

Own end-to-end implementation of Kaizen’s federal software platform, including discovery, configuration, data migration, integrations, training, go-live, and post-launch support. Translate agency requirements into technical workflows, coordinate with engineering within classified data-handling constraints, guide change management, and develop deployment playbooks. The role requires active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance and regular attendance at the DC office.

Build and ship full-stack government software, including AI-powered product features, Palantir integrations, and reliable platforms serving federal agencies. Responsibilities include technical architecture, end-to-end feature ownership, translating agency requirements, setting engineering standards, mentoring engineers, and operating systems under classified data and compliance constraints.

Owns federal contracts administration and compliance infrastructure across FAR-based awards, DoD agreements, subcontracts, IDIQs, and BPAs. Responsibilities include maintaining obligation registers, managing compliance calendars and federal portals, reviewing flowdowns, onboarding subcontractors, interfacing with government contracting officials, supporting proposals and pricing, assessing terms and conditions, and coordinating clause interpretation with outside counsel.

Build and own AI-powered internal tools from discovery through deployment, rollout, and ongoing improvements. Develop document analysis, agentic workflows, automation, research, routing, and analytics systems that reduce manual work. Partner with teams across the company to identify opportunities, scope solutions, enable employees to use AI effectively, and support customer-facing analytics and implementations.

Lead end-to-end product design for government software, including customer research, requirements, high-fidelity flows, prototypes, and design-system contributions. Partner with engineering on delivery, support customer deployments through project management and communications, prototype for sales and RFPs, help shape product strategy, and create branded marketing assets. The role requires close customer collaboration and comfort working across product, implementation, business development, and leadership teams.

Lead Kaizen’s recruiting function by building scalable processes, pipelines, reporting, and automation; personally close senior and executive hires across GTM, operations, engineering, and design. Manage and grow the recruiting team, oversee agency partnerships, strengthen employer branding in NYC and DC, and partner with founders on headcount planning and talent strategy. The role may expand into broader People operations as the company grows.

Own full-cycle recruiting for federal sales, G&A, and operations roles. Build relationship-driven sourcing pipelines for specialized talent, deliver a white-glove candidate experience, use AI tools throughout recruiting workflows, and partner with hiring managers to define searches. The recruiter will independently establish structure in an ambiguous startup environment, represent Kaizen’s mission, and help build recruiting processes and talent pipelines.

Build and lead Kaizen Studio’s video creative function. Produce cinematic customer films, documentary footage, recruiting series, founder pieces, and launch content. Own lean productions end to end, including filming, editing, and delivery, while directing contractors on larger shoots. Establish the company’s visual identity, collaborate with founders, travel periodically to federal and team sites, and eventually grow an in-house production and editing team.

Design and ship high-impact landing pages, campaign sites, motion and illustration, and a cohesive constituent-facing visual system. Own Kaizen's web presence and brand evolution, produce code-first deliverables, leverage AI-native creative tools, and collaborate with Sales, Design Lead, CEO, and engineering to align product and brand.

Lead end-to-end federal capture and proposal development: write RFx responses, white papers, solution briefs, and unsolicited proposals; monitor federal opportunities; translate technical work into winning narratives; build AI-assisted proposal workflows; sharpen capture strategy and represent Kaizen at BD activities.

Own and drive Kaizen's federal civilian sales motion end-to-end: prospecting, demos, proposals, negotiation, and closing. Expand existing wins across agencies, navigate GSA MAS/IDIQ/BPA procurement paths, build relationships with program offices and contracting officers, lead discovery and in-person demos, and partner with Proposal, Capture, and Design to win task orders and modernization deals for benefits, case management, and constituent services.
