Candidates should demonstrate strong communication, analytical ability, initiative, and collaboration skills. A four-year business-related degree and utility experience are preferred, while six years of relevant experience and residency in Long Island or Queens County are required.

Produce substation layout and electrical drawings, grounding and conduit plans, and bills of materials. Prepare general arrangement, AIS design, equipment plans, section views, elevations, below-grade conduit/raceway plans, and control building layouts. Review drawings and specifications to support utility substation design projects.
