Lead transmission and distribution projects from initiation through closeout, managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, construction and commissioning. Serve as client and contractor primary contact, oversee third-party coordination, monitor project performance (SPI/CPI), and resolve contract disputes to ensure successful project delivery.

Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary resources for large-scale utility projects, driving schedule, scope, cost control, contract administration, procurement, stakeholder engagement, construction oversight, change management, reporting, and emergency/storm response. Support tools like E-Builder and ERP and perform field site visits to high-voltage substations and rights-of-way.

Manage identification, development, and acquisition of environmental permits for utility projects. Coordinate agency consultations, ensure regulatory compliance, oversee SWPPP development and inspections, manage mitigation plans, represent the company at public/regulatory meetings, and support project teams to meet schedules and mitigate environmental risks.

Manage end-to-end delivery of substation projects including planning, budgets, schedules, risk, design package review (one-lines, protection & control, grounding), coordinating teams and contractors, resolving technical and permitting issues, and reporting project status to stakeholders.

Design and produce substation one-line and layout drawings, equipment specifications, and estimates. Perform structure calculations, insulation/grounding/A/C interference studies, and support electromechanical equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and relay interfacing.

Develop detailed substation construction and maintenance work packages, estimates, and schedules; coordinate with field crews, project management, and grid operations; monitor progress and document variances; support clearance coordination, emergency planning, and NERC-related documentation; perform site walk-downs and participate in pre-construction meetings.

Create and update substation drawings (one-line, three-line, wiring, layouts, grounding, conduit/cable routing). Prepare drawing packages for construction, upgrades, and maintenance. Maintain drawing accuracy, incorporate revisions, ensure standards and code compliance, manage CAD document sets, and coordinate with engineers and internal teams to resolve design issues.

Lead development of transmission asset capital projects from early scoping to construction-ready status. Manage feasibility, design, permitting, schedules, cost, scope, risk, bid-package prep, and coordinate construction-readiness including outages, access, and material planning.

Lead design and implementation of project controls and PMIS (e-Builder); manage cost and schedule baselines, resource-loaded schedules, forecasting, variance analysis, and executive reporting for transmission and capital projects. Provide training, cross-functional coordination, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement to support portfolio and project delivery.
