Provides administrative support across human resources and office management. Responsibilities include maintaining employee records, assisting with payroll and benefits, supporting recruitment and onboarding, coordinating employee engagement activities, helping with labor and legal compliance, monitoring company assets, procuring office supplies, and supporting office operations, clients, leadership, and policy implementation.

Lead accounting operations across Canadian and international entities, including financial reporting, monthly close, reconciliations, job profitability, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash controls, intercompany accounting, foreign currency, and compliance. Partner with AI, IT, and business-intelligence teams to validate data, investigate anomalies, improve processes, and strengthen financial controls. Coordinate audits, tax preparation, and external accounting requirements while ensuring accurate, timely, and well-supported financial information.

Supports the CFO with financial reporting, account reconciliations, working papers, financial statements, tax compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and business planning. Manages the complete accounting cycle and bookkeeping for JORI’s Philippines entity, assists with month-end and year-end close, supports CARM reporting, and improves accounting systems and procedures. The role requires a CPA, strong analytical and organizational skills, accounting software experience, and knowledge of Canadian tax regulations.

Coordinates international ocean import and export shipments, including client and carrier communication, documentation, insurance, quoting, tracking, billing, vendor task approvals, and export-control compliance. Maintains client and carrier relationships while ensuring accurate, efficient freight processing. Requires logistics experience, marine insurance and Incoterms knowledge, strong communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. CargoWise experience, customs broker licensing, CIFFA certification, and DG Ocean certification are preferred.
