About the Opportunity
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinates and sets up international Ocean import including but not limited to liaising between client and carrier, prepares required documentation and sets up insurance.
- Coordinates and sets up international Ocean export including but not limited to liaising between client and carrier, prepares required documentation and sets up insurance.
- Provides ocean quotes to clients and agents.
- Tracking & Tracing and updates client visible notes in CW accordingly.
- Administrative duties such as approving vendor tasks and billing.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with clients and carriers.
- Reviewing and adhering to export controls regulations & MIGRA
About You
REQUIRED SKILLS
- 2 years related experience with strong knowledge of logistics
- Knowledge of marine insurance
- Knowledge of INCO terms
- Excellent Verbal & Written Communication skills
- Ability to complete tasks in an effective and efficient manner
- Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented and with high keying accuracy
- Deductive reasoning and critical problem-solving skill
- Typing speed of 40-50 words per minute
- High accuracy and attention to detail
NICE TO HAVE
- Cargowise knowledge/experience is an asset
Preferably a licensed customs broker - CIFFA Certified
- DG Ocean Certified
