Manage structural steel detailing projects using Tekla Structures for US commercial work: lead teams, ensure quality and schedules, prepare drawing packages, manage RFIs/changes, coordinate with clients and HQ, maintain trackers, and enforce office and client standards.

Lead and manage a team of estimators to produce precise cost estimates for structural steel projects. Perform blueprint reading, document review, structural and miscellaneous takeoffs, client presentations, process documentation, and standards implementation while supporting resource optimization and client relations.

Lead daily operations and project delivery for structural steel detailing teams using Tekla. Supervise staff, enforce AISC/CISC/OSHA standards, manage budgets, schedules, quality, training, and client coordination to ensure timely, profitable project completion.

Review and validate steel detailing models and drawings against IFC and client specifications. Check connections, materials, finishes, and clash/erection feasibility in Tekla; raise and track RFIs; coordinate with modelers, editors, and document control to ensure shop/GA/erection drawings and NC files are accurate and production-ready.

Create and edit shop and erection drawings for steel fabricators and erectors using Tekla Structures. Ensure drawings follow customer specifications and applicable standards for US commercial steel projects.

Create and maintain Tekla 3D structural steel models from drawings, develop custom components and connections, run clash detection, produce GA/shop/erection drawings and NC files, manage RFIs, ensure code and client standard compliance, and address transport/erection constructability issues.

Produce and edit erection and shop drawings using Tekla, review project specifications and connection weld requirements, perform quality reviews, manage drawing revisions, coordinate with modelers and project teams, and mentor junior editors to maintain JMT detailing standards.
