Assistant Operations Manager supporting steel detailing operations, project planning, staffing, resource allocation, quality control, productivity monitoring, KPI reporting, customer requirements, schedule management, and team development. The role coordinates project managers and production teams, identifies delivery risks and bottlenecks, ensures drawing and model quality, manages workloads, supports performance reviews, and mentors project and production staff.

Assists with managing steel detailing operations, project schedules, staffing, resource allocation, productivity, quality control, customer requirements, and delivery risks. Coordinates Project Managers, Checkers, Modelers, and Editors, monitors manpower and project progress, supports performance reviews, identifies training needs, resolves operational bottlenecks, and ensures steel project deliverables meet AISC/CISC standards and client expectations.

Leads multiple steel detailing projects from planning through delivery, managing scope, schedules, resources, profitability, risks, quality, client coordination, RFIs, drawing packages, and change management. Collaborates with leadership and production teams, ensures compliance with Tekla workflows, AISC/CISC standards, and client requirements, while mentoring staff and driving process improvements.
