Jarrett Logistics offers semester internships (primarily in logistics, sales, marketing, and business). Interns must work in-office at least 18 hours per week during the fall semester and will support client-carrier coordination, customer service, and operational tasks in a collaborative culture.

Prospect and qualify potential customers using ZoomInfo and LinkedIn; conduct outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn; ask discovery questions; set discovery calls for directors; track outreach and pipeline activity in HubSpot; use jShip to support customer shipment coordination and resolve issues.

Coordinate shipment setup, tracking, and carrier/customer communication to ensure timely delivery. Maintain databases and reports, answer calls and emails, troubleshoot shipment issues, and provide customer service. Work full-time onsite with training provided; focus on problem-solving, teamwork, attention to detail, and multi-tasking.

Support client shipment coordination by answering calls and emails, setting up shipments with carriers, tracking shipments, updating jShip, sending status reports, and collaborating to resolve issues.

Manage freight claims with carriers and customers: file, negotiate, and settle claims; provide status updates and reports; handle vendor and customer calls; maintain high customer service and collaborate with teams to resolve issues promptly.

Identify and prospect new customers using cold calling, email, and LinkedIn; qualify leads, book meetings, collaborate with sales and marketing, and use jShip and sales tools to manage opportunities while staying current on industry trends.

Conduct outbound prospecting to sell truckload brokerage services: research targets, make calls and emails, engage via LinkedIn, qualify needs, collaborate with operations to create quotes, and maintain CRM records and pipeline activity.

Audit freight bills for correct payment, research and resolve past-due bills, enter billing data, analyze freight-bill discrepancies and trends, and develop process improvements to resolve billing issues.

Drive new business through proactive prospecting, cold calling, email outreach and drip campaigns. Manage pipeline in HubSpot, deliver sales presentations, negotiate complex contracts, and close long sales cycles (up to a year). Maintain consistent follow-up and cultivate relationships with large manufacturing and supplier clients.

Create and maintain written marketing content across blogs, websites, email campaigns, newsletters and collateral. Ensure consistent brand voice, support multi-channel campaigns, coordinate with vendors, conduct market research, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while collaborating with the marketing team.

Coordinate shipments using proprietary jShip software: set up, track, follow up, and troubleshoot shipments; communicate with customers and carriers; maintain database records and send reports; provide phone and email customer support to ensure timely delivery.
