Translate developer and customer needs into requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and priorities. Partner closely with engineering and QA through development and release, participate in agile ceremonies, coordinate documentation and enablement, and measure adoption and quality after launch.

Develop and operate software controllers for quantum-computing support hardware, from device protocols through reliable fleet services. Responsibilities include API design, implementation, rollout, health monitoring, alerting, and integrating instruments such as compressors, lasers, wavemeters, and sensors. The role requires systems programming, hardware communication, resilience against unreliable external dependencies, and collaboration with software, systems, and quantum science teams. Rust development, production ownership, and cross-disciplinary communication are important.

Own monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation across domestic and international entities. Lead consolidated close activities, foreign currency translation, business combination accounting, chart-of-accounts governance, SEC reporting support, internal controls, audits, and technical accounting under US GAAP. Manage OneStream consolidation and integrations with NetSuite and Pigment, improve processes, automate manual work, and coordinate finance teams across geographies.

Leads a team developing and executing production test strategies for quantum processing units from design validation through manufacturing verification. Owns test roadmaps, laboratory readiness, automated workflows, equipment qualification, acceptance criteria, data quality, and multi-site test campaigns. Guides root-cause investigations into failures, coordinates cross-functional hardware and manufacturing teams, transfers test methods to production partners, and develops engineers and technicians while improving test throughput and repeatability.

Leads IonQ’s global revenue function, including ASC 606 policy, complex hardware and manufacturing revenue recognition, cost-to-cost modeling, audits, SOX governance, M&A integration, and revenue automation. Builds and manages the revenue team while partnering with Sales, Legal, Finance, Operations, IT, and external auditors. The role also advises on contracts, oversees ERP and CRM improvements, and supports accurate forecasting and reporting.

Develops and executes test plans for spacecraft components and systems, maintains automated test scripts, performs functional, performance, and environmental testing, analyzes test data, troubleshoots issues, and supports design reviews. The role also involves maintaining test equipment and facilities, developing electrical and mechanical ground support equipment, and following safety and quality standards in an onsite aerospace environment.

Drive customer adoption of IonQ’s quantum computing platform through technical onboarding, performance optimization, circuit design, troubleshooting, training content, and workshops. Serve as a technical advisor and internal customer advocate while tracking customer health metrics, supporting product improvements, and representing IonQ at industry forums. Collaborate with Product, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and cloud platform teams.

Own system-level quality assurance for FPGA-based post-quantum cryptography products, including functional, performance, stress, stability, negative, interoperability, and compliance testing. Build automated regression infrastructure, hardware-in-the-loop test benches, CI integrations, and results dashboards. Execute ACVP/CAVP, FIPS 140-3, CNSA 2.0, and FPGA compliance campaigns; manage defects, triage issues, document evidence, and define release-qualification criteria.

Own U.S. federal sales of Capella DaaS subscriptions, SAR imagery and analytics, tasking capacity, and satellite systems. Build pipeline across defense, intelligence, and civilian agencies; shape requirements; navigate federal acquisition vehicles; lead proposal and win strategies; develop prime and integrator partnerships; close complex multi-year contracts; maintain forecasts; and relay customer intelligence to product and engineering teams.

Owns New Product Introduction and manufacturing engineering for control electronics subsystems. Responsibilities include building and testing prototypes, transitioning designs to production, applying DFM/DFA/DFT principles, developing assembly and test documentation, creating process flows, supporting system integration, troubleshooting hardware/software interfaces, and collaborating with design, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing partners. The role is onsite in College Park, Maryland, with up to 10% travel.

Leads IonQ’s Resilience Engineering and Operations team supporting a commercial fleet of hosted quantum computers. Responsibilities include fleet operations, incident response, operational readiness, deployment support, maintenance, inventory and sparing, reliability improvement, performance metrics, and team development. The role requires technical leadership across physics, engineering, vendors, and customers, while establishing durable processes and a follow-the-sun operating model. The position is onsite in Bothell, Washington, with on-call responsibilities.

Manage supply planning, demand forecasting, inventory targets, material availability, and SIOP processes across multiple manufacturing sites. Lead distributed planning and warehouse teams, standardize supply chain practices, and oversee MRP/ERP configuration, upgrades, testing, and data quality. Partner with Manufacturing, Procurement, Finance, Sales, and IT on capacity planning, supplier risks, financial forecasting, inventory reconciliation, and performance metrics. The role requires advanced Excel, ERP expertise, manufacturing supply chain experience, team leadership, and fluent French and English.

Own and scale IonQ’s automated optical inspection capability for ion trap chips and packaged quantum processing units. Responsibilities include equipment programming, qualification, calibration, maintenance, inspection recipe development, defect classification, vendor coordination, and operator training. The role also builds automated systems for capturing, storing, tracing, and reporting inspection data, including auditable certificates of conformance. Collaboration with science, photonics, CMOS, and manufacturing teams supports yield analysis and root-cause investigations.

Lead IonQ’s global media relations strategy, securing top-tier business, financial, technology, and scientific coverage. Translate complex quantum technologies into compelling narratives, coach executives and technical experts, oversee agencies, create media materials and messaging, manage crisis communications, and align external communications with legal, compliance, investor relations, and government affairs teams. Monitor media sentiment and industry trends to strengthen reputation, thought leadership, and market positioning.

Owns technical program execution for IonQ’s Quantum Systems Infrastructure portfolio. The role translates roadmaps into plans, milestones, workflows, reporting, and delivery cadences; manages dependencies, risks, intake, triage, and cross-functional coordination across engineering, software, science, product, PMO, and international teams. The manager keeps Jira, roadmaps, and delivery aligned, communicates progress and trade-offs clearly, and drives resolution without making technical, product, or headcount decisions.

Own full-reticle mask tapeouts for trapped-ion quantum computers, develop PDKs and automated PCell layout libraries, and implement DRC/LVS verification. Collaborate with photonic, electronic, packaging, testing, and foundry teams to define layout rules and improve workflows. Document tapeouts, lead layout reviews, and create Python-based automation for complex semiconductor manufacturing processes.

Administer and maintain IonQ's Salesforce Government Cloud org for federal sales: govern access and compliance, build declarative enhancements, manage data quality and releases, support Salesforce Shield controls and audits, produce reports/dashboards, triage federal requests, lead UAT, and maintain documentation and runbooks.

Translates complex quantum computing research and product developments into clear content for technical and non-technical audiences. Creates web, blog, presentation, thought leadership, and technical highlight content; partners with R&D and Engineering to build a communications pipeline; supports leaders with external engagements; tracks quantum ecosystem developments; and aligns technical messaging with company and product priorities.
