The Engineering Manager will lead an engineering team, focusing on technical leadership, coding, architecture, and enhancing user experience through collaboration and agile methodologies.

Lead multiple engineering teams to translate strategy into technical roadmaps, drive architecture and API design, coordinate cross-functional delivery, coach and grow engineers, measure and improve team performance, and adopt new technologies to enhance resident and associate experiences.

Lead and unify the Enterprise Data organization (30+ people), define multi-year data strategy, drive data governance and SOX/CCPA compliance, oversee delivery of data platforms (Snowflake, EDW, data lakes), manage budgets and vendor relationships, and communicate data priorities and outcomes to C-suite and the board.

Process Housing Authority (HAP) payments and RTA financials by extracting portal payment data, creating receipt batches in Yardi, auditing resident ledgers for accuracy, reviewing HAP contracts and leases, and communicating with property management and housing authorities to resolve discrepancies and ensure program compliance.

Serve as strategic advisor to the SVP of Marketing, Growth & Customer Experience, translating analytics into executive recommendations, driving cross‑functional operating rhythms, leading enterprise programs, and applying continuous improvement to improve efficiency and customer outcomes. Partner with Analytics, Product, Marketing, and CX to align roadmaps, reporting, and governance while managing portfolio execution, stakeholder communications, and change management to scale impact.

Negotiate and finalize lease renewals with current residents, deliver excellent customer service, prepare and process lease documents, perform administrative and clerical tasks, support regional department staff, and help achieve renewal targets while following asset management guidelines.

Lead and optimize the renewals program: standardize processes, analyze data, manage daily team operations, train field teams, engage senior leadership, coordinate vendors, review invoices, maintain documentation, and travel to markets to ensure program alignment and results.

Prepare and draft sections of 10-Ks, 10-Qs and other SEC filings (financial statements, footnotes, MD&A); collaborate across functions and with external auditors; perform accounting research and ad-hoc analyses; support implementation of new accounting pronouncements and SEC regulations; assist with monthly management reports, debt compliance reporting, and Sarbanes-Oxley financial reporting controls.

Negotiate and finalize lease renewals with current residents, deliver excellent customer service, prepare and process lease documents, perform administrative support and data entry, and support regional property management goals and renewal metrics.

Support fund accounting for JV and third-party management entities including capital calls, distributions, management fees, equity pick-ups, journal entries, variance analysis, audit support, and collaboration across teams to ensure accurate timely reporting under U.S. GAAP.

Manage preparation and delivery of recurring financial reporting for debt, joint ventures, and third-party management entities. Supervise and develop a team, prepare debt and investment accounting schedules, ensure SOX compliance, collaborate with stakeholders, and assist with budgeting and SEC reporting as needed.

Assist the Portfolio Director managing single-family rental portfolio: maintain occupancy, handle resident relations, manage accounts receivable and collections, reconcile deposits, maintain electronic lease records, and ensure policy compliance while providing customer service.

The Renewal Specialist negotiates and finalizes lease renewals with residents, ensuring exceptional customer service and meeting renewal goals.

Lead market-level property management operations to maximize revenue and profitability. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, pricing, maintenance/rehab expenses, customer service, resident satisfaction and retention, and mentor area leaders to meet company and owner objectives.

Lead asset and portfolio management analysis for a large single‑family rental portfolio. Oversee analysts, drive capital allocation, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial modeling. Monitor asset performance and physical condition, recommend strategic and operational improvements, develop policies and technology initiatives, produce investor and internal reports, and collaborate cross‑functionally with development, facilities, and operations.
