The role manages editorial standards, content calendars, website and social channels, stakeholder and donor communications, freelance specialists, budgets, and a Content Analyst. It translates agricultural research into compelling, audience-focused communications while strengthening CIMMYT’s reputation and global digital presence.

Manage full fixed-asset lifecycle (acquisitions, disposals, transfers, WIP, capitalization, depreciation), maintain the Fixed Assets Register, perform inventories, support monthly and year-end closings, ensure NIF and tax compliance, assist audits, strengthen controls, support ERP users and Accounts Payable as needed.

Leads CIMMYT’s global grant management function and donor-funded portfolio. Oversees award performance, compliance, reporting, risk, subgrants, renewals, audits, and closeout while providing dashboards and management visibility. Supervises and develops Grant Management staff, improves processes and data quality, and strengthens CRM, automation, and AI-enabled workflows. Partners with Programs, Finance, Legal, Procurement, IT, and senior leadership to improve donor stewardship, delivery outcomes, and institutional decision-making.

Owns CIMMYT’s cross-platform IT governance, risk, and compliance framework. Responsibilities include access management, privileged access, segregation-of-duties assessments, license and entitlement governance, data privacy, IT general controls, audit readiness, risk registers, vendor controls, exception management, remediation tracking, and GRC reporting. The specialist coordinates with IT, ERP, Finance, HR, Legal, vendors, auditors, and control owners, while providing training and escalating material findings.

Administer and optimize CIMMYT’s deployed ICERTIS contract lifecycle management platform. Responsibilities include managing users, permissions, templates, clause libraries, workflows, integrations, reports, dashboards, upgrades, support tickets, audits, and contract metadata. The role configures grant and subgrant processes, supports obligation tracking, troubleshoots integrations with Dynamics 365 and Adobe Sign, trains users, gathers enhancement requirements, and coordinates with Legal, IT, Procurement, Finance, vendors, and international teams.

Supports CIMMYT’s Regional Legal Counsel with contract drafting, review, negotiation, lifecycle management, legal research, compliance monitoring, corporate governance, risk assessment, and legal operations in Bangladesh. The role maintains legal records, manages CLM and related systems, coordinates external counsel, tracks deadlines, prepares legal documents and reports, supports audits and training, and engages with internal and external stakeholders in a multicultural environment.

Provides comprehensive in-house legal counsel for CIMMYT headquarters and global operations. Responsibilities include contract lifecycle management, multijurisdictional legal advice, regulatory compliance, legal risk assessment, corporate governance, policy development, legal research, stakeholder training, and representation before authorities. The role supports departments including Research, Finance, HR, Procurement, and Operations while advising senior legal leadership on complex matters. Based in Texcoco, Mexico, the position requires English and Spanish fluency and at least eight years of progressively responsible in-house legal experience.

Lead and coordinate business services across CIMMYT India and BISA India, overseeing inventory, warehouses, procurement, logistics, fleet, travel, facilities, governance, and risk management. Implement scalable processes, enforce internal controls, support D365 rollout, supervise field operations teams, ensure compliance and OHS for agrochemical handling, and provide operational reporting and contingency planning across multi-location research stations.

Lead end-to-end HR operations for CIMMYT India: recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, benefits administration, performance management, training, compliance with Indian labor law, employee relations, and HR database maintenance. Act as strategic HR partner to program leaders and oversee HR analyst support.

Provide in-house legal support across the region: manage full contract lifecycle, advise on corporate, regulatory, labor, tax and litigation matters, support compliance and case management, corporate governance, and cross-functional legal guidance. Act as regional legal focal point with HQ, deliver training, draft legal opinions, and ensure timely closure of legal requests and adherence to multi-jurisdictional regulations.

Lead the Program Finance Management Unit to provide strategic finance leadership, planning, forecasting, donor financial management, controls, compliance, and capability development across institutional programs.

Manage day-to-day farm accounting and financial controls: update books, process journals, bank reconciliations, vendor/staff payments, month-end close, compliance with statutory laws, support audits, liaise with banks/authorities, review operations assistant work, prepare consumable and crop valuations, and raise fund requests to HQ.
