Manages automation systems engineering, including mechanical and electromechanical design, applications engineering, technical sales support, fabrication, installation, and field performance improvements. Supervises engineering and field service teams, oversees purchasing and manufacturing coordination, manages budgets, ensures customer specifications and safety standards are met, and supports trade shows and customer activities. Requires an engineering degree, seven years of mechanical systems design experience, CAD proficiency, and technical team management capability.

Leads the daily operations of an Order Management team, overseeing customer orders, service quality, workload allocation, escalations, performance coaching, training, and process compliance. Partners with Sales, Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, and other departments to resolve customer issues, manage fulfillment risks, improve workflows, and maintain consistent customer service. Supports departmental initiatives, onboarding, standard operating procedures, and continuous improvement while ensuring product safety and quality requirements are followed.

Processes daily warehouse shipments in ERP systems, maintains logistics paperwork, and verifies accurate picking, loading, and order confirmation. Coordinates warehouse teams, shift handoffs, driver check-ins, inbound and outbound delivery appointments, and workload priorities. Collaborates with supervisors, booking, and customer experience teams to address at-risk orders and customer-impacting issues. Supports safety, product quality, GMP, IPC, and SQF compliance requirements.

Supervises distribution center staff and manages material flow, inventory accuracy, shipment scheduling, FIFO rotation, location tracking, shipping efficiency, driver compliance, safety, training, and quality programs. Develops procedures, monitors performance, coordinates with other departments, oversees cycle counts and audits, and ensures compliance with DOT, EH&S, GMP, SQF, and other regulatory requirements.

Supports product development, line extensions, commercialization, and product lifecycle activities from concept through launch. Coordinates cross-functional teams, timelines, prototypes, samples, market research, competitive analysis, financial evaluations, product information, systems, and launch communications. Partners with Sales and customers to identify opportunities and translate feedback into product initiatives. Requires approximately 5%–10% domestic travel and adherence to safety, quality, GMP, IPC, and SQF standards.

Coordinates plant HR activities, including recruiting administration, interview scheduling, onboarding, benefits paperwork, employee records, training files, headcount tracking, payroll issue resolution, temporary agency coordination, and employee events. Provides receptionist and general administrative support, maintains HR scorecards and engagement boards, and assists with reports, purchasing, vendors, and special projects while protecting confidential information and following safety and quality requirements.

Own and administer the company QMS and PDM/PLM systems, support ERP/MES integrations, build dashboards and reports (quality, supplier, production KPIs), maintain data integrity, support end users, evaluate tools, and participate in cross-functional improvement projects across multi-site manufacturing. Domestic travel ~10%.

Develop and expand regional end-user accounts as the primary sales contact. Close new business, negotiate contracts, meet sales forecasts and budgets, analyze sales trends, maintain customer satisfaction, present performance to management, collaborate with the commercial sales team, and travel extensively.

Support design, procurement, assembly, installation, inspection, and troubleshooting of automation equipment. Coordinate with suppliers and engineering, prepare documentation and manuals, control costs, investigate new machine designs, install and service equipment at customer sites, and train customer staff. Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, IPC, and SQF standards; travel as required.

Lead thermoforming process development and improvement, provide advanced troubleshooting, training, and data analysis. Support new product commercialization, reduce variability, lead CI/SMED efforts, coordinate with R&D/central engineering and vendors, and ensure quality, safety, and production efficiency.

Assemble, install, and troubleshoot electromechanical automation equipment (denesters, fillers, closers, labelers). Coordinate procurement, final assembly, inspection, and shipments. Work with suppliers and engineering to resolve design/manufacturing issues, develop manuals, train customers, and support on-site installations and trade show activities.
