The role requires analyzing financial reports, SEC filings, legal documents, regulations, and industry trends; developing sources; pitching original story ideas; tracking audience analytics; editing stories; and collaborating with a newsroom team. Candidates should have strong writing and reporting skills, payments or financial services knowledge, digital news expertise, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
