Lead and manage the Electrical/Instrumentation & Controls discipline: develop scope, schedules, budgets, and quality for multiple projects; supervise and grow the department; ensure deliverable quality and execution plans; identify risks and resource needs; collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to deliver discipline deliverables on time and on budget.

Manage electrical construction projects from bid through closeout: develop scopes, estimates, proposals and execution plans; coordinate engineering, field supervision, subcontractors, schedules, cost control, safety, quality, and client communication to meet project goals.

Support and coordinate engineering and construction activities across multiple projects from planning through completion. Prepare proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and technical documentation; monitor budgets and schedules; coordinate subcontractors and stakeholders; perform site inspections, ensure quality and safety compliance; manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project closeout documentation.

Support manufacturing operations by analyzing processes, troubleshooting technical issues, and driving continuous improvement using Lean tools to improve flow, reduce waste, increase capacity, and lower cost. Document procedures, collect and analyze data, support line balancing and work cell design, and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and communicate recommendations.

Provide hands-on mechanical engineering support for equipment construction, installation, debugging and startup. Oversee internal teams and contractors, improve installation practices, troubleshoot machinery, train technicians, manage materials, redesign equipment as needed, and ensure safety, quality, and timely project execution on-site.

Provide electrical discipline support for installation, debugging, startup and turnover of automated manufacturing equipment. Perform hands-on troubleshooting, modify PLC/control software, supervise technicians and trades, create/modify documentation and drawings, procure materials, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and interface with system integrators to deliver integrated equipment systems on time.

Design, specify, integrate, test, and validate control hardware and software for optical fiber manufacturing equipment. Develop control concepts, integrate field devices (flow, motion, temperature, safety), collaborate with equipment design and manufacturing teams, and execute experiments and test plans to improve manufacturing performance and product attributes.

Create detailed electrical and instrumentation CAD drawings for heavy industrial systems, interpret design directives, visit sites to collect data, ensure code compliance, implement feedback from engineers, troubleshoot design issues, and communicate potential problems to senior staff.

Lead project document control for capital projects: develop document management plans, establish filing platforms, manage EDMS access and training, perform audits, generate status reporting, support project closeout and archive handover packages, and collaborate with engineering, procurement, contractors, and IT to ensure compliant, timely document distribution.

Support project cost control, forecasting, scheduling, EVM, reporting, and performance tracking while assisting compliance for government-funded work. Maintain schedules, forecasts, variance analyses, dashboards, and documentation; support audits, change order reviews, and regulatory obligations. Collaborate with project leadership to improve processes, monitor risks, and ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.

Manage multiple facility capital projects ($10K–$1M+): define scope, estimate and control costs, select contractors, procure equipment, supervise construction, coordinate hand-off and start-up, and complete final closeout and documentation.

Manage project spending and asset capitalization in SAP: run reports, create/manage assets, develop capitalization templates, coordinate labor codes/work orders, handle equipment disposals, maintain Finance reports, and resolve discrepancies with engineers and finance stakeholders.

Install, assemble, measure, cut, and thread pipes per blueprints; inspect and repair leaks; use hand and power tools; follow safety protocols; collaborate with construction teams and maintain records of work and materials.

Install, weld, and bolt structural steel per blueprints; operate cranes and aerial lifts; fabricate, measure, and cut steel components; inspect for structural integrity and safety compliance; collaborate with welders, fabricators, and engineers; follow safety protocols and complete projects on time.

Lead construction management for multiple plant capital projects: define scope, estimate and control costs, develop schedules, procure materials, supervise contractors, review engineering designs, ensure safety compliance, manage change, and complete project closeout and documentation.

Design and analyze electrical systems for industrial projects including power, lighting, grounding, and schematics; produce equipment specs, drawings, and calculations; lead small design staff, perform quality checks, resolve technical conflicts, and use power system analysis tools (SKM/ETAP) and CAD for project execution.

Design and implement electrical and control systems for heavy industrial projects. Produce detailed electrical documentation (calculations, power distribution, panel and conduit/cable schedules, loop and I/O drawings), specify MCCs, switchgear, and VFDs, ensure code compliance (NFPA 70), resolve technical conflicts, perform quality checks, lead junior engineers, and coordinate with cross-functional teams using electrical design and project software.

Design electrical power distribution and process control systems, produce loop diagrams/schematics, prepare EI design packages/specs, forecast panel costs, maintain documentation, troubleshoot and ensure code‑compliant, safe installations while collaborating with project teams and clients.

Install, assemble, inspect, and repair piping systems by reading blueprints, measuring, cutting, threading, and fitting pipes. Perform tests, maintain safety and clean work areas, keep records, and collaborate with construction teams to meet project schedules and budgets.

Perform on-site electrical QA/QC: inspect conduit, switchgear, panels, lighting, grounding; conduct in-process inspections and witness/testing (IR, continuity, VLF, ground resistance); maintain QA/QC logs, test records, NCRs, RFIs and as-built markups; drive corrective actions and coordinate with engineers, foremen, subcontractors, and client QA.
