Serve as a collaborating physician for Tennessee-based Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners. Provide clinical consultation, support referrals and escalations, evaluate APP competencies, review Practice Agreements, and complete licensing, credentialing, payer enrollment, CAQH, and regulatory documentation. The physician must be board-certified in Family Medicine, fellowship-trained in Sports Medicine, licensed and practicing in Tennessee, and available electronically while APPs provide care.

Provide initial orthopedic telehealth evaluations, diagnose conditions, order imaging, administer in-office injections, and refer patients for in-person care. Develop personalized treatment plans, coordinate care with physicians and physical therapists, guide patients through treatment, and contribute feedback to improve the telehealth platform. The role is full-time, hybrid remote with weekly on-site visits and no nights, weekends, or on-call duties.

Handles inbound and outbound patient calls, schedules and reschedules appointments, verifies insurance eligibility, updates demographic records, processes referrals, scans medical records, performs data entry, and coordinates communication between patients, medical staff, and departments. Requires Spanish bilingual proficiency, strong communication and empathy, professional phone etiquette, technology comfort, and a high school diploma or equivalent. This is a fully remote, part-time or full-time position.

Serve as a collaborating Sports Medicine physician for Florida-based APPs: support licensing/credentialing, be available remotely for consultation, review/approve practice agreements, participate in peer review and competency evaluations, and sign required documentation in a timely manner.
