Manage and mentor software and systems engineers while remaining hands-on with Python, TypeScript, and SQL development. Lead architecture, cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, CI/CD, testing, security, HIPAA compliance, and system reliability. Partner with clinicians, product managers, and security teams to deliver healthcare technology solutions. Oversee technical initiatives, budgets, hiring, team culture, incident response, and engineering processes for a fully remote team.

Own data and platform engineering roadmaps, prioritize cross-functional requests, write product requirements, manage backlogs, and coordinate sprint planning. Partner with product, engineering, data, clinical, and operations leaders to shape strategy, define MVPs, conduct discovery, and measure feature impact. The role translates business and clinical priorities into build-ready plans and scalable technology solutions.

Improves and scales healthcare care-delivery and coordination workflows by mapping processes, identifying bottlenecks, redesigning operations, and documenting SOPs. Defines KPIs, translates operational improvements into data and engineering requirements, partners with product and technical teams, supports tool rollouts, and analyzes outcomes. Requires strong process improvement, analytical, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills, ideally in healthcare delivery or a high-growth environment.
