Leads the spacecraft Guidance, Navigation, and Control engineering team, owning GN&C architecture, modeling and simulation, spacecraft attitude and orbit control, flight verification, hardware selection, and astrodynamics. Manages team hiring and development, program execution, technical standards, cross-functional integration, and lifecycle reviews. Oversees pointing accuracy, jitter, orbit maneuvers, constellation operations, simulation infrastructure, and readiness for testing, launch, and on-orbit operations.

Leads and grows a flight and embedded software engineering team developing, integrating, and verifying software for spaceborne SAR payloads and vehicles. Owns software architecture, program planning, scheduling, risk management, development standards, interface specifications, documentation, and system-level verification. Partners with systems engineering, hardware, and program management while guiding hardware/software integration, avionics testing, and technical career development.

Leads complex aerospace, defense, and commercial programs across planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Manages contracts, schedules, costs, technical performance, risks, suppliers, customer relationships, and cross-functional teams. Establishes program baselines, ensures compliance, supports contract negotiations, reports performance, and identifies growth opportunities. Requires significant customer and stakeholder collaboration, with 25%–40% domestic travel and occasional international travel.

Supports cybersecurity compliance programs through control assessments, evidence collection, gap analysis, audit readiness, remediation tracking, policy maintenance, customer security questionnaires, GRC recordkeeping, and compliance reporting. Collaborates with cybersecurity, IT, engineering, DevOps, legal, and business stakeholders to validate controls and maintain compliance with CMMC, NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and contractual requirements.

Leads program finance, proposal pricing, cost modeling, budgeting, forecasting, EACs, variance analysis, and contract financial management for aerospace programs. Builds labor and material estimates, tracks program performance, aligns budgets with schedules, supports FAR/DFARS/CAS compliance and audits, and improves finance workflows for future ERP implementation. Collaborates with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, operations, and program leadership to manage financial risk and communicate program health.

Build and lead ICEYE’s talent development function, including performance management, job architecture training, manager enablement, career development, and scalable employee resources. Partner with People leadership and business stakeholders to create a multi-year roadmap, identify capability gaps, facilitate programs, manage rollout logistics, and measure program effectiveness. The role requires hands-on program creation in a rapidly scaling company with limited existing infrastructure.

Source, engage, and nurture technical candidates for critical roles. Build talent pipelines, partner with hiring managers and senior stakeholders, analyze recruiting metrics, optimize sourcing strategies, and develop scalable talent acquisition processes. Leads vision, strategy, roadmap, development, launch, and lifecycle management for commercial SAR data products. The role partners with IT, Cyber, Talent Acquisition, and the Facility Security Officer while supporting employee experience and creating scalable processes, tools, and policies.
