Performs small-molecule purification using preparative LC and SFC to support medicinal and high-throughput chemistry. Develops and optimizes chromatographic methods, operates LC, SFC, LC/MS, and related systems, assesses compound purity, and troubleshoots instrumentation. Supports automated purification workflows, fraction handling, compound recovery, data reporting, and laboratory documentation. Collaborates with medicinal chemists to deliver purified compounds efficiently and helps implement new methods, columns, instruments, and workflow improvements.

Develop and optimize small-molecule purification strategies using preparative SFC and LC, with emphasis on method development, troubleshooting, scale-up, and fraction collection. Support high-throughput LC/MS compound QC, instrument maintenance, automation, workflow integration, and analytical data management. Collaborate with medicinal chemistry and high-throughput experimentation teams to deliver purified, well-characterized compounds for AI-driven drug discovery.

Build agentic LLM systems that acquire, clean, validate, curate, and document large-scale biomedical datasets for multimodal model training. Develop reliable agent architectures, tooling, evaluation harnesses, quality-control workflows, and reproducible data pipelines. Collaborate with ML scientists, monitor distributed production pipelines, diagnose failures, and implement secure sandboxed execution with restricted access and audit logging.

Research and develop post-training methods for large multimodal transformer models used in drug discovery. Responsibilities include supervised and parameter-efficient fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, reward design, experimentation, hyperparameter optimization, inference optimization, benchmarking, and productionization. The role involves collaborating with machine learning engineers, software developers, computational chemists, medicinal chemists, and biologists while writing robust, tested, and documented research and engineering code.

Research and develop post-training methods for large multimodal transformer models used in drug discovery. Responsibilities include reinforcement learning, fine-tuning, reward design, experimentation, inference optimization, benchmarking, and productionizing ML systems. The role collaborates with software engineers, machine learning researchers, computational chemists, medicinal chemists, and biologists to align model objectives with therapeutic applications. Candidates will also write, test, document, and communicate high-quality research and engineering work.

Apply and optimize advanced ML models (including multimodal transformers) to support drug discovery. Collaborate with chemists and biologists, evaluate models, integrate ML insights into design-make-test-analyze cycles, communicate results internally and externally, and guide ML model evolution with domain-driven feedback.

Partner with Discovery R&D teams to lead FP&A activities including annual planning, reforecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, headcount planning, and program-level budgets. Provide actionable financial insights to leadership, support month-end close and accruals, assist long-range and scenario planning, and develop scalable FP&A tools and processes while performing ad hoc analyses and supporting business development negotiations.
