Jobs at Hy-Vee

Selects merchandise using headset-guided slot instructions, verifies products, stacks items safely on pallets, loads trailers, operates warehouse equipment, meets production standards, and performs inventory checks, salvage recovery, inspections, and warehouse cleaning. Requires night and weekend shifts, repetitive heavy lifting, warehouse fitness, drug, and hearing tests. Work may occur in refrigerated environments with temperatures as low as -15 degrees.

Pick, stack, and palletize merchandise for shipment to retail locations using headset-directed picking. Load pallets, maintain production standards, operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment, follow safety and quality procedures, and pass fitness/drug/hearing tests. Work includes repetitive heavy lifting and possible refrigerated environments.

Protects employees, guests, assets, and facilities at Hy-Vee supply chain locations. Manages access-control posts, monitors CCTV and electronic security systems, responds to alarms and emergencies, conducts equipment inspections, leads critical-incident responses, maintains emergency medical readiness, and prepares detailed incident and shift reports. The officer also assists with transferring sensitive items and participates in security training and meetings.
