Registered nurse who coordinates and advocates for patients with complex diagnoses across the care continuum. Provides education, links patients to resources, monitors outcomes, supports quality improvement, and may orient staff. Specialized duties vary by program (oncology trials, bariatric program accreditation, community case management, perinatal care, dementia screening/outreach).

Perform level I routine and level II advanced obstetric/fetal ultrasound exams, obtain and evaluate high-quality diagnostic images, document findings in hospital systems, educate patients/families, initiate emergency response if needed, act as a resource to junior technologists, and cover call and rotations to adjacent imaging centers as required.

Responsible for resolving patient and payor accounts, obtaining maximum reimbursement, initiating appeals for underpayments, interpreting EOBs/ERAs, using Epic and patient accounting systems, documenting actions, establishing payment arrangements, and mentoring/training peers while meeting productivity and quality standards.
