Teams at Heidtman Steel Products, Inc.

Facilitates plant safety and environmental programs, inspections, audits, training, orientations, risk assessments, PPE reviews, ergonomic analyses, emergency action plans, and guarding evaluations. Tracks near misses, supports corrective actions and workers’ compensation claims, coordinates light-duty assignments, maintains production documentation, and helps operations and maintenance resolve unsafe conditions. Requires OSHA and EPA knowledge, strong communication, Microsoft Office proficiency, and travel up to 50 days annually.

Lead 3rd-shift tube mill operations, supervise and develop production staff, manage schedules, oversee changeovers and breakdown recovery, enforce safety and quality (ISO9001 preferred), support maintenance, and drive continuous improvement to meet production and cost goals.

Operate tube mill line roles (end weld, paint, saw, packline, QC, floaters) on 2nd/3rd shifts. Move materials with forklift/crane, perform inspections, assist changeovers, troubleshoot breakdowns, maintain safety and quality, and support production flow.
