Owns product strategy, roadmap, launches, profitability, forecasting, and lifecycle optimization for a designated product line. Provides market and competitive insights, coordinates product development initiatives, reports progress, and mentors team members. Supports production and product support engineering as a tooling and test equipment subject matter expert. Manages tooling organization, calibration, repairs, requisitions, equivalencies, ETMLs, and test data sheets. Evaluates new technical capabilities, coordinates consumables and calibrated items, trains production technicians, and assists with corrective actions while maintaining FAA regulatory and operational compliance.

Supports the administration of U.S. Government contracts and related shipments by maintaining records, monitoring delivery performance, coordinating government-system submissions, resolving invoice and shipping issues, preparing reports, and improving data quality. The role collaborates with Sales, Finance, Shipping, Quality, and Operations while ensuring contract, packaging, documentation, and government requirements are met.

Supports quality documentation and inspection for aerospace products. Develops inspection plans, coordinates nonconformance resolution, performs root cause analysis and corrective actions, reviews first article inspections, analyzes process trends, conducts production inspections, and applies lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods. The role requires collaboration across teams, technical reporting, aerospace measurement knowledge, and occasional exposure to the manufacturing floor.

Designs and develops materials and manufacturing processes for existing and new aerospace-related products. Leads complex engineering problem-solving, materials and performance testing, process trials, equipment selection, vendor coordination, cost reduction, quality and regulatory compliance, and cross-functional innovation initiatives. The role requires expertise in applied mathematics, materials and processes, analytical methods, technical communication, and elastomer and textile testing.

Leads cross-functional aerospace distribution projects from initiation through closeout, managing scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, compliance, stakeholders, and KPIs. Translates strategic goals into measurable work plans, facilitates Kaizen and Lean Six Sigma improvement activities, develops project dashboards, coordinates implementation and corrective actions, and presents status and recommendations to senior leadership. The role is on-site in Hauppauge, NY and requires occasional travel.

Plans and prioritizes production schedules, materials, work orders, and documentation to support customer commitments. Coordinates with Production, Purchasing, Sales, suppliers, and inventory teams to resolve shortages, expedite materials, update ERP commitments, and manage production constraints. Reviews MRP, inventory, capacity, backlog, and supplier data; communicates risks and recovery actions; and supports inventory accuracy and production execution in an onsite manufacturing environment.
