Conducts public health surveillance data matching, linkage, and analysis using SAS and SQL. Evaluates electronic case reporting data, supports epidemiological research projects, performs cross-tabulation and regression analysis, and prepares or edits reports. The role also assists with confidential health datasets, database-related initiatives, demographic data completion, and grant or contract deliverables for New York State communicable disease surveillance systems.

Coordinates statewide oral health program activities with dental schools, school-based health centers, and medical facilities. Develops training resources, manages consultants and agreements, maintains stakeholder communications, organizes work groups, tracks grant data and deliverables, drafts performance reports, and supervises staff. The role requires compliance with grant and contract requirements and includes up to 10% travel.

Provides administrative and programmatic support to the Procurement Unit, including tracking procurement activities, maintaining records, processing materials, reviewing applications, updating systems, monitoring deadlines, conducting follow-up, assisting partners, and supporting post-award activities. The role also identifies and escalates non-routine issues and requires compliance with grant and contract deliverables.
