Lead the migration of a statewide legacy learning management system serving more than 60,000 users. Manage project planning, implementation, stakeholder coordination, vendor and IT team collaboration, compliance, training needs, and post-launch stabilization. Supervise staff and oversee grant, time-and-effort, and contract deliverables.

Maintains, develops, and integrates software supporting Wadsworth Center’s Laboratory Information Management System. The role supports internal users, evolving laboratory workflows, and workflow-generated data. Responsibilities include application maintenance, software development, systems integration, automation, database work, container deployment, CI/CD pipeline maintenance, and troubleshooting across Linux/Unix environments. The position is hybrid but requires in-person interviews, regional residency, up to 10% travel, and compliance with grant and contract deliverables.

Provides comprehensive administrative support to a public health division, including calendar and meeting coordination, travel arrangements, expense reporting, correspondence tracking, call triage, filing, office procedure improvement, assignment routing, and report preparation. Handles executive clearance correspondence, maintains tracking systems, resolves routine administrative issues, and coordinates with internal and external health partners. The role requires managing confidential materials and high-volume, competing priorities in a hybrid work environment.

Conduct public health research and coordinate NICS surveillance for mental health-related firearm eligibility reporting. Develop SAS or Python programs, validate and improve data quality, generate surveillance reports, monitor reporting errors, maintain the NICSMAN reporting module, create documentation, train facility staff, and prepare presentations, abstracts, and peer-reviewed publications. Coordinate with the New York State Office of Mental Health and reporting healthcare facilities while managing grant deliverables.

Conduct vector biology and vector-borne virus transmission research; maintain insectary and high-containment laboratories; care for arthropods; perform experimental infections; process and test experimental and field samples; maintain laboratory records, inventories, SOPs, and equipment. The role requires collaboration with investigators, grant deliverables, biosafety compliance, and occasional travel.

Develop, test, maintain, and optimize custom dynamic websites and web applications using Microsoft .NET technologies and MSSQL. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, coding, quality assurance, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Resolve advanced technical support issues, design databases and schemas, collaborate across departments, research emerging technologies, and improve business processes.

Obtain, analyze, and report population health data; design and develop sustainable data products, queries, and dashboards; evaluate new data sources and tools; produce state, regional, and county reports; respond to ad-hoc requests; summarize literature; prepare presentations and contribute to publications and data products.

Manage program, contract, and fiscal activities for the Office of Health Equity and Human Rights; supervise staff; formulate policy; coordinate grant-funded program planning, implementation, evaluation, and resource allocation; liaise with public health staff and stakeholders; ensure compliance with grant and contract deliverables; represent the office and provide technical assistance to contractors.
