Support and optimize plating manufacturing processes (electroplating, resist stripping, wet etching) on the production line. Provide technical support, design experiments, analyze SPC data, conduct root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and lead process integration for new products while maintaining documentation and safety compliance.

Ensure quality of production and prototype magnetic recording heads via SPC data analysis, failure analysis, and root-cause investigations. Create reports, recommend corrective actions, collaborate with design and manufacturing on process characterization and wafer process changes, and present findings to stakeholders. Develop, sustain, and support advanced thin film processes (PMR, TAMR, writer areas) for new and prototype products. Design and run wafer experiments, analyze data, perform root-cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and transition processes to production. Create and maintain process documentation, train operators, partner with equipment/maintenance and cross-functional teams to improve yield, reduce cost, and optimize manufacturing efficiency.

Support and optimize day-to-day photolithography manufacturing processes to improve yield and reliability. Design and run experiments, perform SPC/DOE analysis, conduct root-cause investigations, implement corrective actions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce cost and cycle time.

Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, peripherals, and desktop applications. Diagnose network issues, escalate complex problems, coordinate small projects, and follow safety and cleanroom procedures. Night-shift role in Milpitas, CA.

Lead process integration and wafer-level characterization for next-generation thin film recording head technologies. Perform FIB failure analysis, design experiments, analyze backend performance using JMP/Visual Basic, recommend corrective actions, and present findings to teams while adhering to cleanroom and safety procedures.

Responsible for selection, installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of semiconductor vacuum tools. Uses AutoCAD/SolidWorks for schematics, analyzes tool data, manages projects and maintenance schedules, improves reliability and yield, maintains spare parts, develops emergency recovery plans, and ensures ISO 9001:2015 and safety compliance in a cleanroom environment.

Coordinate, schedule, and deliver production and cleanroom training for engineers, technicians, and operators. Maintain and audit training records and the LMS (TEDS), create/update training materials, perform particle and pressure audits, track quality/scrap issues, and support implementation of process changes. Work primarily on-site in a wafer fab and on a rotating night shift.

Administer and maintain MES (Siemens Opcenter/MESA) infrastructure and servers, ensure high availability, perform daily monitoring and troubleshooting, prepare SOPs and validation documentation, support change management and on-call response, and lead infrastructure projects in a semiconductor cleanroom environment.

Support and sustain day-to-day thin film manufacturing using ion beam techniques. Improve deposition and dry etch efficiency, design and run experiments to verify process robustness, perform SPC and DOE, conduct root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, collaborate on process integration, and optimize manufacturability to increase yields and lower cost.

Support staffing and recruitment for exempt and non-exempt roles: source candidates, schedule interviews, collect documents, submit background screens, maintain tracking databases and reports, assist with new hire orientation and onboarding surveys, and provide temporary recruiting support in a manufacturing environment.

Develop and optimize wafer CMP and post-CMP cleaning processes; design and run experiments (DOE), analyze data, perform root-cause analysis and corrective actions; transition new products to production; partner with equipment, maintenance, and process teams to improve yield and reduce cost; maintain documentation and train operators.
