Evaluates, selects, installs, maintains, modifies, and upgrades vacuum and thin-film manufacturing equipment. Analyzes equipment performance, troubleshoots failures, manages improvement projects, maintains documentation and spare-parts inventories, and implements corrective actions to improve uptime, reliability, yield, productivity, and operating costs. Collaborates with engineering, maintenance, operations, contractors, and other teams in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment while following ISO and safety requirements.

Supports day-to-day CMP manufacturing processes in a semiconductor wafer facility. Improves yield, process margins, quality, cost, and operational efficiency through experiments, statistical process control, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process optimization. Provides technical support, develops documentation and procedures, supports new product integration, analyzes manufacturing data, and presents findings to teams. Work occurs in an office and cleanroom environment with potential exposure to chemicals, fumes, gases, and noise.

Leads equipment engineering and maintenance for a high-volume wafer fabrication facility. Oversees industrial tool repair, preventive maintenance, qualification, optimization, vendor work, materials and stores departments, equipment data analysis, reporting, staffing, training, and manufacturing process instruction updates. Ensures safety, quality-system compliance, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement while managing and mentoring personnel.
