Build low-latency, reliable pipelines and clean data models, ship integrations for e-commerce and advertising sources, and automate integration and transformation work using AI agents. The role requires production ownership of large-scale data infrastructure, strong Python, SQL, and dbt expertise, orchestrator experience, and effective documentation.

Build Hazel’s AI action layer and full-stack product features using TypeScript, React, and Go. Develop LLM agent workflows with streaming responses, multi-step tool use, approvals, and human-in-the-loop safeguards. Create read/write integrations with Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta, Amazon, and other platforms. Own scalable APIs, including query optimization and schema design, while working directly with founders and customers in a senior, high-autonomy environment.

Optimize pipelines for low-latency availability and seasonal scale, build clean data models, and automate integrations and transformations using AI agents. The role requires production data infrastructure ownership, strong dbt, SQL, and Python skills, orchestration experience, clear documentation, and the ability to operate independently while helping build the future data team.

Develop full-stack features with TypeScript, React, and Go; create streaming LLM workflows, multi-step tool use, approval systems, and scalable APIs. Work directly with founders and customers to ship product capabilities, optimize queries, design schemas, and improve user experience.

Work directly with founders and customers in a fast-moving hybrid NYC environment.

Ensure reliable synchronization across large-scale, multi-tenant data systems while documenting processes and helping scale the data function.
