Responsibilities include producing construction drawings and specifications, equipment selection and sizing, site visits, facility condition assessments, cost estimates, CAD and simulation modeling, construction administration, reporting, and stakeholder collaboration. The engineer may lead technicians and designers, maintain code and industry knowledge, and travel up to 30% of the time.

Conduct archaeological and historic resource investigations, including Phase I and Phase II surveys; perform archival research, field documentation, and resource evaluations; prepare technical reports, eligibility findings, effects assessments, and mitigation documents; support NHPA Section 106, NEPA, ARPA, NAGPRA, and related regulatory compliance; coordinate with agencies, tribes, clients, and multidisciplinary project teams; and manage assignments within project scopes, schedules, and budgets.

Responsibilities include developing control schemes, integrating IEDs, RTUs, PLCs, and protective relays, coordinating DNP3, IEC 61850, and Modbus communications, designing fiber and IP networks, reviewing technical documentation, and supporting testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and system modernization. The role collaborates with multidisciplinary engineering teams, utilities, operations centers, and IT/OT stakeholders.

Leads civil site development projects from concept through completion, directing sitework, grading, stormwater management, utility design, ADA compliance, regulatory compliance, technical documentation, and QA/QC.
