Leads quality assurance, technical oversight, and business development for traffic engineering projects. Requires extensive traffic engineering experience, Illinois PE licensure, and expertise with traffic modeling and applicable transportation standards. Occasional travel is required.

Designs and drafts mechanical building systems for facility projects, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, building automation, and special piping systems. Conducts facility assessments, feasibility studies, load calculations, energy modeling, equipment selection, and field investigations. Prepares Revit construction drawings, specifications, reports, and contract documents; supports shop drawing reviews and construction administration while collaborating with engineers, project managers, clients, and contractors.

Lead Hanson’s national Advanced Air Mobility practice, including market strategy, business development, executive client relationships, industry partnerships, and complex program delivery. Serve as an AAM subject matter expert covering vertiports, airport integration, electrification, and emerging aviation technologies. Oversee multidisciplinary teams, capture major opportunities, ensure profitability and client satisfaction, represent the firm through industry thought leadership, mentor aviation professionals, and monitor regulatory and technology developments.

Leads infrastructure business development across Indiana’s transportation and municipal markets while providing senior civil engineering and project leadership. Builds relationships with INDOT, municipalities, counties, MPOs, utilities, and other partners; identifies opportunities; leads pursuits, proposals, interviews, and pricing strategies. Oversees roadway, stormwater, utility, and site improvement projects, supports design delivery, manages technical risks, forecasts revenue, and mentors staff.

Designs and optimizes HVAC and plumbing systems for government, commercial, and industrial facilities. Responsibilities include producing construction drawings and specifications, equipment selection and sizing, site visits, facility condition assessments, cost estimates, CAD and simulation modeling, construction administration, reporting, and stakeholder collaboration. The engineer may lead technicians and designers, maintain code and industry knowledge, and travel up to 30% of the time.

Leads advanced air mobility and traditional airport planning projects, including master plans, layout plans, capital programs, vertiport siting, feasibility studies, and infrastructure integration. Manages scope, schedules, budgets, client relationships, regulatory coordination, technical analyses, multidisciplinary teams, reports, proposals, and presentations. Supports business development, grant applications, stakeholder engagement, staff mentoring, and the integration of emerging aviation technologies and sustainability practices.

Design roadway and transportation infrastructure projects for public and private clients. Lead roadway tasks, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, review technical work, develop construction plans and contract documents, prepare calculations and cost estimates, author engineering reports, mentor junior staff, support client meetings and proposals, and conduct site visits. The role requires occasional travel for project meetings and site reviews.

Design and deliver roadway and transportation projects for government and DOT clients, including highways, streets, bridges, culverts, intersections, sidewalks, rail crossings, signing, pavement markings, and traffic control plans. Prepare and review complex calculations and construction documents, coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, support proposals, interact with clients, and help manage staffing and backlog.
