Leads quality assurance, technical oversight, and business development for traffic engineering projects. Reviews traffic models, intersection and interchange studies, reports, signal and ITS designs, and engineering analyses. Advises clients, mentors staff, supports proposals, and helps develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules. Requires extensive traffic engineering experience, Illinois PE licensure, and expertise with traffic modeling and applicable transportation standards. Occasional travel is required.

Designs and drafts mechanical building systems for facility projects, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, building automation, and special piping systems. Conducts facility assessments, feasibility studies, load calculations, energy modeling, equipment selection, and field investigations. Prepares Revit construction drawings, specifications, reports, and contract documents; supports shop drawing reviews and construction administration while collaborating with engineers, project managers, clients, and contractors.

Supports experienced electrical engineering staff through project assignments, operational shadowing, and day-to-day engineering activities. Interns may assist with larger projects, network with colleagues, and travel to suppliers, customers, or Hanson locations. Candidates must be enrolled in an electrical engineering degree program, preferably having completed their junior year, with strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills, Microsoft Office knowledge, and a valid driver's license.
