Manages complex federal and state corporate income tax compliance for C and S corporations, including Forms 1120 and 1120S, tax provisions under ASC 740, payments, apportionment, tax authority correspondence, and external advisor coordination. Partners with accounting, finance, and operational teams to research tax issues, support forecasts and strategic transactions, review tax accounting work, and ensure accurate, timely reporting across multiple jurisdictions.

Safely maintain saws and machine centers in a sawmill environment. Responsibilities include sharpening, benching, tipping, side grinding, profiling, welding cracked saws, pouring and grinding babbitt guides, maintaining lubrication systems, aligning machine centers, assisting with saw changes, and completing preventive maintenance checklists. Overtime may be required.

Leads installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability of electrical and automation systems in a sawmill. Supervises industrial electricians and E&I technicians, manages preventive and predictive maintenance, validates PLCs and safety systems, ensures electrical-code compliance, develops procedures, investigates failures, and implements automation and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Coordinates domestic and international shipments across ocean, rail, truck, ports, and warehouses. Tracks deliveries, resolves delays and discrepancies, manages carrier relationships, supports freight-rate negotiations, maintains shipment data, analyzes logistics performance, and ensures import/export documentation and regulatory compliance. Partners with sales, customers, warehouses, carriers, and service providers to improve shipment execution, customer service, and supply chain efficiency.

Plans, coordinates, and supervises forest operations supporting sawmill fibre supply. Responsibilities include managing contractors and staff, overseeing road and bridge construction, harvesting, hauling, silviculture, log quality, budgets, compliance, permitting, stakeholder and Indigenous relations, and operational reporting. The role ensures safe, environmentally responsible, cost-effective execution while driving continuous improvement and maintaining accurate forestry data and records.

Maintains, installs, troubleshoots, and repairs industrial machinery, facility equipment, and mechanical systems in a sawmill environment. Operates maintenance tools and equipment, works with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, welds and cuts as needed, supports production flow, follows safety regulations, and collaborates with maintenance, production, and management teams. Overtime, continuous learning, housekeeping, and process improvement are required.

Processes incoming and outgoing log and residual loads, weighs shipments, inspects logs for defects and compliance, and follows procedures for overweight, rejected, and spread loads. Maintains receipt and inventory records, supports audits and reconciliations, collaborates with procurement, and contributes to operational improvements. The role also maintains the scalehouse and equipment while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
