Supports the Head of School in academic, instructional, operational, and administrative leadership. Responsibilities include faculty recruitment and development, curriculum procurement, student assessment planning, enrollment and community engagement, scheduling, student discipline, safety procedures, event planning, and family communication. The Assistant Head of School leads the academy in the Head of School’s absence and helps establish a high-performing school culture.

Supports lead teachers in K-5 classrooms by assisting with instruction, student learning, classroom activities, school events, faculty meetings, and assigned duties. Maintains an orderly learning environment, follows school policies, collaborates with teachers, participates in professional development, and advances the school’s classical education mission. A degree is not required, though some locations may require college credits or a ParaPro assessment.

Lead a K-2 homeroom classroom using Great Hearts curriculum, including Spalding Phonics and Singapore Mathematics. Prepare engaging lessons, support academic and behavioral development, monitor student progress, communicate with families, maintain an orderly and nurturing classroom, collaborate with faculty, participate in academy events, and pursue ongoing professional development.

Teach Grades 3–5 using the Great Hearts classical curriculum, create a nurturing and orderly classroom, support student academic and behavioral needs, communicate with families, collaborate with school staff, participate in academy events and duties, and pursue ongoing professional development.

Supports K–5 students in general and special education classrooms through one-on-one and small-group academic assistance, behavior management, social-skills development, transitions, personal care, mobility support, and adaptive equipment use. Collaborates with certified teachers, reinforces classroom and individualized support strategies, maintains a positive learning environment, provides clerical assistance, and attends required meetings and training.

Provides long-term substitute art instruction for grades 6–12. Responsibilities include following lesson plans, maintaining an orderly and safe classroom, engaging students through the Socratic method, evaluating student work, communicating with parents, enforcing school policies, maintaining records, supporting student make-up work, and participating in professional development.

Some positions may require additional college credit or passing a ParaPro exam.

Supports K–5 students in general and special education classrooms through small-group and one-on-one academic assistance, behavior management, transitions, personal care, mobility support, and classroom activities. The assistant reinforces learning adaptations, promotes safety and positive behaviors, provides clerical support, attends training, and collaborates with certified teachers and special education staff.

Provides specially designed instruction and special education services to students. Develops and maintains IEPs and related compliance documentation, coordinates accommodations and evaluations, facilitates special education meetings, collaborates with educators and service providers, communicates with families, and manages transitions for newly enrolled students receiving services.

Supports lead teachers and students in classroom instruction, individual assistance, make-up work, behavior expectations, recordkeeping, school activities, and substitute teaching coverage. Supports daily administrative operations for a K-5 school campus. Responsibilities include answering calls, assisting parents and visitors, preparing communications and schedules, maintaining enrollment and student records, processing records requests, collecting fees, issuing receipts, and supporting faculty with class preparation. The role requires professional communication, customer service, organization, multitasking, Microsoft Office proficiency, and successful completion of background and fingerprint clearance checks.

Supports lead teachers with K–5 classroom instruction, student learning, daily activities, classroom management, school events, and faculty responsibilities. Apprentice Teachers serve as second teachers while receiving mentorship and professional development in classical liberal arts education. The role requires collaboration with teachers, adherence to school policies, and participation in training and assigned duties.

Performs complex financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, variance investigation, financial modeling, and internal control review. Prepares financial statements, board reports, audit materials, and budget-to-actual analyses while supporting academy leaders and expansion projects. Develops policies, researches business issues, ensures budget compliance, and provides financial guidance to departments and school leadership.

Provides one-to-one and small-group academic, behavioral, social, and personal support to K-5 students with special education needs. Assists with assignments, classroom rules, transitions, hygiene, mobility, adaptive equipment, behavior de-escalation, and clerical tasks under certified teacher direction. Attends training and maintains a positive, organized learning environment.

Provides academic, behavioral, personal care, mobility, and transition support to students receiving special education services. Assists students individually or in small groups, reinforces classroom rules and behavior strategies, adapts learning materials, supports hygiene and adaptive equipment needs, and provides clerical assistance to the special education team. The temporary part-time assignment runs from mid-October through mid-December and includes meetings, training, and occasional local travel.
