Leads organizational growth, workforce planning, talent development, risk mitigation, and commercially successful project delivery.

Leads project controls for heavy civil infrastructure projects, overseeing cost control, earned value management, scheduling, budgets, forecasts, contract compliance, change management, insurance issues, and project reporting. Collaborates with project leadership, clients, subcontractors, and joint venture partners to maintain performance, quality, timelines, and budget. Provides technical guidance and leads multidisciplinary teams while supporting commercial reviews and strategic performance improvements.

Manages regional or project-level HR operations, including workforce planning, talent acquisition support, onboarding, employee relations, immigration compliance, training, compensation and benefits updates, and employee data workflows. Partners with project leaders, legal counsel, and HR teams to resolve issues, identify workforce trends, support compliance, and develop employees. Requires extensive HR experience, construction industry knowledge, employment law expertise, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Leads corporate and project-site quality programs for construction operations. Develops quality procedures, documentation, testing, audit reporting, risk assessments, forecasting, and continual-improvement initiatives. Manages non-conformance reports, corrective actions, ISO certification activities, and system verifications. Advises leadership and clients on compliance while coaching teams and supporting proposal efforts. Requires extensive construction quality experience, professional engineering credentials, strong knowledge of testing and inspection requirements, and leadership across multiple teams.

Leads BIM and VDC integration across infrastructure construction projects. Develops and coordinates 3D models, supports simulations, constructability reviews, quantity takeoffs, sequencing, clash detection, digital twin handoffs, and proposal visualizations. Establishes BIM standards, collaborates with field, preconstruction, business development, owners, and project teams, and drives digital transformation. Requires engineering education, extensive construction-industry experience, software expertise, team leadership, and knowledge of construction engineering, project management, regulatory codes, and risk identification.

Oversees health and safety programs across construction project sites, including incident tracking, trend analysis, safety orientations, training, inspections, permits, equipment readiness, hazard analyses, injury investigations, corrective actions, and emergency planning. Leads safety teams, ensures regulatory compliance, develops mitigation strategies, and collaborates with project managers and construction crews to maintain safe worksites.

Writes persuasive, compliant proposals for major infrastructure and construction pursuits across Canada. Collaborates with engineers, estimators, project managers, designers, and document controllers to translate technical information into client-focused narratives. Reviews RFP and RFQ requirements, integrates win themes, maintains content libraries, prepares project references and management plans, and delivers polished submissions under tight deadlines. Also adapts technical content for marketing materials, white papers, and methodology statements while using proposal management and AI-assisted tools.

Manage subcontractor and supplier procurement for heavy civil and building projects. Responsibilities include developing supply chain strategies, maintaining vendor data, evaluating suppliers, monitoring performance KPIs, supporting RFQs, adapting contract templates, negotiating complex agreements, resolving disputes, and coordinating equipment procurement. The role requires bilingual French-English communication, procurement and contract administration expertise, and occasional travel to monitor supplier performance and schedules.

Leads large heavy-civil bridge and structures projects from contract review through completion. Manages budgets, schedules, construction planning, personnel, subcontractors, quality, safety, technical coordination, client relationships, progress reporting, estimating, and issue resolution. Requires extensive experience with rail and road bridges, railway corridors, in-water construction, Ontario construction standards, and multidisciplinary project teams.

Supervises traffic control and flagging activities on heavy civil construction sites. Places and maintains signs, barricades, cones, and warning devices; controls vehicle, pedestrian, and construction traffic; supervises flaggers; operates and inspects trucks and equipment; maintains logs, handles materials, secures job sites, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Manages construction projects from contract initiation through closeout, overseeing budgets, schedules, personnel, equipment, safety, forecasts, stakeholder relationships, change orders, disputes, claims, and final documentation. Coordinates with owners, project teams, legal counsel, government agencies, and third-party stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant, and profitable project delivery.

Guides and controls vehicular and pedestrian traffic near construction sites, follows company values and strategic plans, and performs additional duties as directed. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Negotiates and manages subcontract terms, evaluates and qualifies subcontractors, enforces procurement policies, maintains purchasing records, oversees accounts payable reconciliation, and coordinates with legal, management, district, and project teams. The role requires strong contract negotiation, financial, accounting, procurement, communication, organizational, and Microsoft Office skills, with JD Edwards E1 World experience preferred.

Supervise daily payroll operations for 500–800 employees, including timecards, semi-monthly and biweekly processing, reporting, audits, garnishments, benefits contributions, employee changes, final pay, and payroll inquiries. Maintain secure payroll records, coordinate with ADP and Dayforce, support time-accounting systems, ensure compliance, and lead process improvements and special projects.

Coordinates construction projects by managing schedules, materials, equipment, budgets, cost coding, timecards, quality documentation, inspections, permits, field layout, subcontractors, and compliance with engineering standards. Reviews project performance, identifies schedule and budget risks, supports design drawings, and collaborates with crews, engineering leaders, finance, payroll, and supervisors to maintain safe, compliant, and timely production.

Supports business development and project pursuit efforts for a construction, engineering, or design firm. Responsibilities include industry outreach, relationship management, teaming-partner evaluation, capture planning, SOQ and proposal preparation, CRM tracking, reporting, and coordinating internal and subcontractor resources. Requires a bachelor’s degree, 4+ years of related experience, strong communication skills, construction-project tracking abilities, and occasional travel.

Installs structural and miscellaneous steel, reinforces concrete structures, positions and secures steel components, reads blueprints, cuts and welds metal, inspects tools, and follows safety protocols while working under a Foreman on a Skytrain extension project.
