The Program Director manages government shipyard projects, ensuring program performance, financial management, and compliance while leading teams and enhancing customer relationships.

Responsibilities include fitting steel for ships, operating equipment, welding, troubleshooting, and maintaining tools while adhering to safety standards.

Lay out, position, cut, fit, and weld ship components (decks, bulkheads, tank linings) using torches, saws, grinders and welding equipment. Read and analyze engineering drawings, perform weld inspections and precision measurements, develop templates, and rig/operate overhead cranes. Work at heights, in confined spaces and inclement weather; follow safety and quality specifications.

Develop detailed production work packages for shipbuilding by reviewing drawings, estimating labor and materials, generating work orders, coordinating with Engineering, Production and Materials, and supporting fabrication and production readiness.

Lead technical execution of Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E) systems across program lifecycle. Serve as primary technical liaison with customers and regulatory authorities, manage engineering deliverables, risks, baseline changes, ECPs, testing, cost, schedule, quality, and supervise staff to ensure contractual compliance and successful delivery.

Lead and manage a team of SAP functional specialists to deliver, enhance, and support SAP applications; coordinate with business units, manage projects, troubleshoot and optimize systems, maintain configurations and documentation, and oversee staff performance and development.

Lead industrial processes, production planning, manufacturing methods, and trade planning for shipbuilding. Drive schedule adherence, cost avoidance, process improvements, tooling design, cross-functional coordination, workforce forecasting, and KPI reporting while supervising teams and ensuring compliance with standards and safety.

Lead mechanical engineering for vessel construction and repair: design and review mechanical, piping, and machinery deliverables; support installations, testing, troubleshooting; coordinate with departments, vendors, customers, and regulators to meet schedule, budget, and standards.

Serve as liaison between Finance stakeholders and IT to analyze processes, define requirements, design/configure and support SAP FICO solutions, manage projects, produce documentation and training, and lead cross-functional initiatives to improve financial and controlling processes.

Design, develop, configure, and support SAP Fiori applications, SAPUI5, Fiori Launchpad, CDS views, and embedded analytics within SAP S/4HANA. Collaborate with business stakeholders to improve UX, deploy real-time KPIs, and drive adoption.

Provide Tier 1/2 desktop support for Windows and macOS systems, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, printers, mobile and conference-room tech. Manage tickets, escalation, onboarding/offboarding, asset records, documentation, and service management processes. Participate in IT projects, system upgrades, and maintain SLAs. Domestic travel may be required.

Support development and maintenance of BI reports, dashboards, and data solutions. Gather requirements, validate data, troubleshoot reporting issues, support KPI development, document solutions, and provide analytical support to internal stakeholders.

The HR Representative will support employees and leaders with HR policies, compliance issues, onboarding, and labor relations in a collaborative environment.

The Director of Production oversees commercial new construction programs, ensuring production execution, budget adherence, safety compliance, and quality assurance while managing a large workforce.

Lead development and oversight of EHS programs to ensure OSHA, EPA, and maritime compliance. Manage safety audits, investigations, training, reporting, emergency response, and continuous improvement. Partner with leadership to monitor performance, drive safety culture, and supervise EHS staff.

Lead analysis and improvement of manufacturing cost, schedule, and operational performance using EVMS and KPIs. Develop corrective actions, forecasts, and executive reports; ensure EVMS compliance and drive continuous improvement across cross-functional teams.

Provide first-level IT support for end users, troubleshoot Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 issues, manage help desk tickets, and maintain IT equipment.

Provide technical leadership for vessel electrical systems: develop and review drawings, calculations, and specifications; support shipyard installations, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting; coordinate with production, project management, vendors, and regulators to ensure compliance and timely delivery.

The QA/ISO Manager oversees quality management system implementation, regulatory compliance, and team performance. Responsibilities include training, audits, and communication with stakeholders regarding quality metrics and corrective actions.

Develop and maintain project schedules and resource plans; update schedules with production input; maintain baseline and performance metrics; produce and distribute progress reports; communicate cross-functionally with planning, engineering, purchasing, production, program management and leadership.
