Reports on the business of US sports, including corporate deals, investments, billionaires, sportswear and equipment companies, media, sponsorships, technology, betting, and consumer brands. Produces scoops, profiles, analysis, and newsletter contributions; collaborates with sports, corporate finance, deals, and media teams; contributes to FT Live events; and participates in weekend shifts.

Leads the ERP engineering team, owning Oracle Fusion platforms, integrations, operations, reliability, security, and continuous evolution. Provides technical direction, people leadership, engineering planning, vendor oversight, and platform lifecycle management. Partners with Finance, Product, Architecture, Security, and other technology teams to translate business priorities into sustainable engineering plans, reduce technical debt, strengthen internal expertise, and ensure resilient enterprise services.

Manage full-cycle recruitment for approximately 15–18 concurrent vacancies across Product, Technology, Commercial, and other functions. Source passive candidates, advise hiring managers, coordinate interviews, assess candidates, negotiate offers, and maintain strong candidate experiences. Partner with stakeholders across the UK, US, and APAC while using recruitment data and market insight to guide hiring strategies. Champion inclusive recruitment practices and maintain accurate records in Greenhouse and Workday.

Build and maintain scalable data models, transformations, pipelines, and BI solutions supporting finance, B2B, and B2C teams. The role uses dbt, SQL, cloud data warehouses, ETL/ELT tools, version control, CI/CD, and automated testing. The Data Journalist will cover US politics, economics, finance, trade, markets, and campaign finance. The role collaborates with editors, correspondents, reporters, and visual journalism colleagues internationally, while explaining quantitative findings to broad audiences. Data visualization, statistical methods, data pipelines, financial journalism, Git, and Adobe Illustrator experience are desirable.

Reports on business and finance in China, breaking news through interviews and original reporting. Writes analysis, features, and other formats for a global audience of financiers, executives, politicians, and professionals. Works with researchers, editors, and China experts; develops story ideas, uses regulatory sources, represents the Financial Times at events, and may contribute to podcasts or video. Mandarin proficiency is highly beneficial, and the role involves travel across China.

Supports financial accounting operations including supplier and invoice management, journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, tax and statutory compliance, audit preparation, internal controls, and fixed asset administration. Coordinates with suppliers, auditors, banks, government agencies, and internal stakeholders. Maintains accurate financial records, prepares reports and supporting schedules, monitors compliance deadlines, and assists with process improvements and finance system administration.

Supports the Financial Times and Nikkei corporate development and investments team across acquisition and investment sourcing, M&A transactions, venture investments, disposals, valuation modeling, due diligence, negotiations, portfolio reviews, thematic research, and board documentation. The role defines reusable integration patterns, improves interoperability and automation, coordinates architecture across domains, manages incidents and operational performance, and builds a high-performing team of senior engineers.

Leads corporate licensing sales for a priority industry sector, owning revenue growth, renewals, expansion, strategic accounts, and customer retention. Manages regional business development, account management, customer success, and sales development teams while coordinating global sector strategy. Builds market expertise, identifies partnership and growth opportunities, develops customer relationships, manages forecasting and pipelines, and provides customer insight to senior leadership. Collaborates across sales, marketing, product, editorial, and solutions teams in a matrix organization.

Develop and deliver multi-channel audience acquisition, lead-generation, nurture, and engagement campaigns for issuer and investor communities. Manage marketing across the event lifecycle, including webinars, content, digital campaigns, and partnerships. Use CRM, campaign, and audience data to segment audiences, optimize performance, grow qualified leads, increase event participation, and support commercial revenue while ensuring GDPR compliance.

Supports the Financial Times US newsroom through pitching, reporting, writing, interviewing, research, document analysis, newsletter curation, digital projects, and special projects. The intern works with editors and correspondents in a collaborative multimedia newsroom, develops original story ideas, meets deadlines, and contributes to business and financial journalism. The internship runs June 7 through August 13, 2027, pays $22 per hour, and requires at least three office days weekly.

Paid ten-week internship producing audio journalism for the Financial Times News Briefing. Responsibilities include researching and pitching story ideas, gathering tape and archive audio, coordinating and recording interviews, and producing and editing podcast elements. Candidates should have strong writing, editing, communication, and organizational skills, an interest in business and financial news, and experience using Descript or similar audio-editing software.
