Manages the full procurement cycle, including sourcing, supplier selection, negotiations, purchase orders, contracts, inventory coordination, and supplier performance. Analyzes spending to identify cost savings, ensures policy and regulatory compliance, resolves vendor issues, maintains procurement records, and reports metrics to leadership. Collaborates with Finance, Operations, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to forecast purchasing needs and manage budgets.

Supports corporate accounting through month-end close, GAAP financial reporting, revenue recognition, construction and project accounting, lease and debt accounting, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, variance investigations, and audit support. The role also maintains internal controls, collaborates with FP&A, IT, and operations, and contributes to process improvements and special accounting projects.

Supports enterprise telecom accounts throughout the sales cycle by translating technical requirements into fiber service solutions. Prepares technical cost packages, logical designs, mapping, and details for lit service and dark fiber offerings. Builds customer relationships, identifies service needs, demonstrates operational and cost improvements, and collaborates with sales and engineering teams. The role is on-site in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and may require travel up to 25% per month.

Supports strategic account directors by researching clients, mapping stakeholders, coordinating account plans and follow-ups, monitoring sales opportunities, preparing executive materials, assisting negotiations, tracking industry risks, and maintaining dashboards. The role also contributes to net-new business growth, consultative selling, proposals, sales forecasting, quota attainment, and cross-functional alignment across sales, marketing, and solutions engineering.

Plan, coordinate, and oversee OSP fiber engineering for construction projects: route evaluations, cost estimates, work orders, QA, vendor coordination, documentation, permitting, and schedule/budget tracking.

Support month-end close and GAAP financial reporting with focus on revenue recognition, construction/project accounting, lease and debt accounting, and operating expense accounting. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, support audits and internal controls, collaborate cross-functionally (FP&A, IT, operations), and contribute to process improvements and special projects.

Validate technical integrity of Closed Won telecom opportunities, ensuring designs, BOMs, fiber/splice plans, and documentation comply with engineering standards. Identify and resolve discrepancies, coordinate cross-functionally (Sales, Engineering, Construction, Provisioning), perform QA reviews, reduce installation fallout, and support continuous improvement of validation processes.

Develop pre-sales OSP/ISP planning packages that translate sales opportunities into actionable project schedules, Gantt charts, capacity reviews, material needs, and cross-functional execution plans. Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Operations to assess fiber route feasibility, capacity gaps, permitting, site readiness, and handoffs. Maintain planning records, support cost/schedule/resource estimates, and improve planning templates and workflows to ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to execution.

Plan, forecast, monitor, and optimize FiberLight's transport, IP/MPLS, Ethernet, and optical backbone capacity. Build forecasting models, dashboards, and policies for DWDM/ROADM spectrum, MPLS backbone, and Layer 2 services. Recommend and coordinate augmentations, create business cases, automate capacity reporting, and collaborate cross-functionally to support scalable network growth and service delivery.

Monitor real-time network performance, perform Tier I diagnostics, create and manage trouble tickets, coordinate field dispatch, escalate incidents to engineering or carriers, communicate with customers, and maintain network documentation and standards while supporting shift and on-call rotations.

Drive public sector revenue by identifying, pursuing, and expanding government accounts. Build relationships with procurement and agency leaders, manage complex RFP-driven sales cycles, coordinate cross-functional proposal efforts, and meet pipeline and revenue targets while monitoring market trends and procurement vehicles.

Support design, implementation, and maintenance of fiber network infrastructure. Configure and troubleshoot Layer 1-3 networking (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS), assist with network automation (Python, Ansible), use GitHub, monitor performance, maintain security/compliance, and document configurations and procedures under senior engineer guidance.
