Designs, builds, and ships agentic AI workflows for geothermal operations: end-to-end prototyping, retrieval/RAG pipelines, semantic grounding, knowledge graphs, evaluation, observability, Azure deployments, and cross-functional enablement.

Lead SD-WAN, firewall, switching, and wireless architecture; manage centralized FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer/FortiNAC; enforce segmentation and security policies; support compliance and incident response; lead site deployments and mentor engineers.

Lead electrical design and optimization for geothermal power plants, owning specifications and analyses for transmission, distribution, and substations (13.8 kV–500 kV). Provide technical leadership on major capital projects, mentor engineers, drive standardization, support procurement and interconnection, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver cost-effective, constructible power plant designs.

Lead design and optimization of instrumentation and control systems for standardized 50 MW geothermal plants. Develop control architectures, program Allen-Bradley PLCs, build Ignition SCADA applications, produce I&C drawings, specify instruments and panels, configure industrial networks, support construction/commissioning, troubleshoot field issues, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating across disciplines and cybersecurity/IT teams.

Lead Fervo's investor communications and capital markets engagement. Own quarterly reporting, earnings preparation, SEC disclosure coordination, investor outreach, analyst relations, and investor events. Provide market intelligence to leadership, support Board reporting, and align communications with corporate development and financing strategy.

Own and scale indirect tax (sales & use, property, transaction taxes) for multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction projects. Manage filings, use-tax accruals, exemption determinations, audits, and controls. Partner with Supply Chain, AP, Accounting, and external advisors to ensure accurate tax application at transaction, maintain audit-ready documentation, support SOX readiness, and identify automation opportunities.

Lead strategic evaluations of geothermal and adjacent energy opportunities through technical diligence, financial analysis, market and competitive research, process design, cross-functional project management, stakeholder engagement, and presentation of recommendations to senior leadership.

Design, analyze, and support implementation of electrical power systems for geothermal projects, performing load flow, short circuit, protection, stability, and lifecycle cost analyses; support transmission, distribution, substation design, equipment specification, and cross-functional project execution while ensuring compliance with industry codes.

Lead and grow a product-oriented software engineering team to design, own, and deliver Fervo's internal application architecture and production apps. Work embedded with operations to build workflows, dashboards, integrations, and AI-enabled features; define standards (CI/CD, observability, security); and manage vendor and data-platform integrations to scale software supporting geothermal operations.

Lead design and optimization of mechanical systems for geothermal power plants, owning specifications, trade-off analyses, procurement support, and driving standardization. Mentor junior engineers, collaborate cross-discipline, and ensure designs balance cost, safety, and constructability through fabrication and testing.

Serve as the VP of Operations' extension to align engineering, commissioning, production, and O&M workstreams. Track AFEs, budgets, change orders, and forecasts; run cross-functional meetings; produce executive-grade briefings; maintain risk registers and recovery plans; standardize processes and templates; integrate AI tools; lead special initiatives and stakeholder communications. Travel up to 25%.

Design and lead Fervo's internal audit function and SOX program, define the enterprise risk universe, execute financial, IT/OT, cybersecurity, and regulatory audits, coordinate with external auditors and co-source providers, report to the Audit Committee, and build a scalable audit team and continuous monitoring capabilities.

Full-cycle recruiter owning requisitions from intake through offer for technical, operational, and corporate roles. Source and build pipelines, conduct screens, coordinate interviews, partner with hiring managers on assessments, support offers and onboarding, and represent the company at career events while managing ATS data and candidate experience.

Lead and scale the end-to-end supply chain organization, owning strategy, supplier relations, procurement, logistics, inventory systems, category management, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Construction, and Operations to drive cost reduction, schedule discipline, and continuous improvement.

Own and review ASC 740 income tax provision and federal/state compliance across multi-entity, partnership-heavy structures. Manage external preparers, support tax equity and clean energy credits (ITC/PTC), build controls and audit-ready documentation, support SOX/SEC readiness, identify automation opportunities, and partner cross-functionally on tax planning, forecasting, and project finance tax matters.
