Lead month-end close and general ledger activities across multiple entities, overseeing reconciliations, accruals, allocations, intercompany, and audit-ready documentation. Develops supplier strategies, negotiates contracts and call-off agreements, qualifies backup vendors, confirms capacity and mobilization readiness, manages supplier performance, and partners with Operations, Engineering, Compliance, and field teams to mitigate availability and execution risks.

Coordinate high-volume virtual and onsite interviews across teams, locations, time zones, and seniority levels. Manage calendars, candidate communications, interview logistics, job postings, ATS records, and confidential information. Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, interviewers, and administrative staff to maintain efficient hiring processes. Identify scheduling or communication issues, support recruiting events and projects, and help deliver a seamless, welcoming candidate experience in a fast-paced 12-month contract role.

Design, build, and operate shared Azure-based platform infrastructure and self-service tooling (CI/CD, IaC, API gateway, service catalog). Embed security and compliance, enable discoverability for engineers and AI agents, and drive adoption through measurement and cross-team collaboration.

Lead enterprise network strategy and architecture across IT, cloud, WAN/SD-WAN, wireless, and operating sites. Own Fortinet standards, Cisco IT/OT integration, automation/CI-CD, observability, incident escalation, and network roadmaps while guiding implementations, vendor strategy, and governance to ensure secure, resilient, scalable networks.

Design, build, and operate an Azure-native platform using IaC (Terraform/Bicep), GitHub Actions, and GitOps. Supports accounting close activities, technical accounting research, lease accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, audit and valuation requests, controls, and financial reporting. Researches US GAAP, prepares technical memos, reviews complex contracts, and translates accounting conclusions into procedures, disclosures, and controls. Partners with cross-functional teams, auditors, and external specialists while improving accounting processes and maintaining audit-ready documentation.

Owns engineering, procurement, delivery, budget, and performance of turboexpander-generator systems across a geothermal powerplant portfolio. Leads technical delivery from early engineering through commissioning, drives standardization and cost reduction, manages OEM relationships and contractual performance, and recruits and develops a large cross-functional engineering team.

Supports daily treasury operations, including cash position reporting, forecasting, reconciliations, wire and ACH processing, banking administration, and cash controls. Partners with Accounting, FP&A, internal teams, auditors, and banking partners to resolve discrepancies, support month-end close, maintain documentation, and improve treasury processes. The role requires strong Excel skills, financial accuracy, organization, communication, and experience with cash reporting or bank reconciliations.

Design and lead Fervo's internal audit function and SOX program, define the enterprise risk universe, execute financial, IT/OT, cybersecurity, and regulatory audits, coordinate with external auditors and co-source providers, report to the Audit Committee, and build a scalable audit team and continuous monitoring capabilities.

Design, build, and operate scalable batch and real-time data pipelines on Databricks/Azure, implement medallion architecture with Delta Lake, ensure data quality and governance via Unity Catalog, support CI/CD and production operations, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver analytics-ready datasets for BI and ML use cases.

Own site I&C systems for a 24/7 geothermal power facility: maintain Allen-Bradley PLCs and Ignition SCADA, troubleshoot instrumentation and networks, lead RCAs and MOC, develop SCADA/HMI and KPIs, manage small I&C projects, and ensure OT cybersecurity and regulatory compliance to maximize reliability and output.

Design, implement, and operate Fortinet-based network infrastructure across corporate, cloud, and site environments. Lead SD-WAN, firewall, switching, and wireless architecture; manage centralized FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer/FortiNAC; enforce segmentation and security policies; support compliance and incident response; lead site deployments and mentor engineers.

Lead Fervo's investor communications and capital markets engagement. Own quarterly reporting, earnings preparation, SEC disclosure coordination, investor outreach, analyst relations, and investor events. Provide market intelligence to leadership, support Board reporting, and align communications with corporate development and financing strategy.

Own and review ASC 740 income tax provision and federal/state compliance across multi-entity, partnership-heavy structures. Manage external preparers, support tax equity and clean energy credits (ITC/PTC), build controls and audit-ready documentation, support SOX/SEC readiness, identify automation opportunities, and partner cross-functionally on tax planning, forecasting, and project finance tax matters.

Lead and scale the end-to-end supply chain organization, owning strategy, supplier relations, procurement, logistics, inventory systems, category management, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Construction, and Operations to drive cost reduction, schedule discipline, and continuous improvement.
