Supports the COO with daily operational management, cross-team coordination, program implementation, performance tracking, reporting, process improvement, research, and documentation. The role works across agroforestry, biochar, and ecosystem restoration initiatives, helping identify bottlenecks and execute operational plans as programs expand across rural India. Periodic field travel is required.

Leads end-to-end afforestation and agroforestry project execution, including budgets, progress tracking, procurement, vendor coordination, documentation, quality control, team management, client communication, and field implementation. Develops strategies to meet plantation targets, resolves operational bottlenecks, manages cross-functional coordination, and identifies expansion opportunities with external partners and government stakeholders.

Supports recruitment, onboarding, employee lifecycle administration, HR compliance, attendance and payroll inputs, employee engagement, policy implementation, performance processes, HR reporting, and documentation for field-based teams across multiple locations.

Edit short- and long-form videos for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, podcasts, campaigns, and educational content. Repurpose long videos into short-form clips, add English and Hindi/Marathi subtitles, and apply music, sound effects, transitions, motion graphics, and visual effects. The intern may also create thumbnails, explore AI editing tools, monitor social trends, and assist with content shoots. This is a remote, part-time six-month internship requiring approximately 20–24 hours weekly.

Leads organizational financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, accounting, payroll, reporting, compliance, cash-flow management, and internal controls. Partners with leadership and program teams to align resources with agroforestry, biochar, and ecosystem restoration initiatives. Supports fundraising by preparing grant budgets, projections, and donor or investor reports while strengthening financial systems as the organization scales.

Manages client accounts and coordinates with internal teams, while preparing invoices, following up on payments, supporting collections, maintaining transaction records, filing documents, and completing basic reporting and documentation tasks.

Refine biodiversity, horticulture, agroforestry, and science-learning curricula; structure modules and learning journeys; develop pedagogical and experiential approaches; create Theory of Change, monitoring, feedback, survey, and assessment frameworks; define measurable learning and behavioral outcomes; support facilitators; and recommend improvements using field observations and participant feedback.
