Owns delivery, architecture, reliability, observability, testing, incident response, roadmap execution, organizational design, hiring, and leadership development. Partners with Product, Design, and TPM teams while driving cross-organization initiatives and resolving ambiguous technical and operational challenges.

Lead the technical direction and execution of Fanatics Markets’ multiplatform mobile engineering strategy. Design and scale Kotlin Multiplatform architecture, shared business logic, Compose Multiplatform UI, and cross-platform state management. Drive complex feature delivery, engineering standards, quality, build health, observability, and release practices. Partner with product, design, executives, and platform teams while mentoring engineers, resolving incidents, and shaping the organization’s long-term mobile architecture.

Own cross-functional programs from definition through execution, managing workstreams, dependencies, milestones, risks, and stakeholder accountability. Build practical operating mechanisms, improve workflows, lead team cadences, and provide concise leadership updates. Use data and AI tools such as Claude to automate recurring work, synthesize information, and improve efficiency. The role requires strong organization, analytical ability, communication skills, and comfort driving outcomes in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

Manages a team of 2–3 analysts while remaining hands-on with advanced SQL, dbt models, dashboards, and complex cross-functional analyses. Owns analytics quality, reporting automation, KPI visibility, stakeholder recommendations, and AI enablement for operations. Coaches team members, prioritizes requests, partners with data teams, and presents findings to senior leadership. The role requires strong analytical judgment, technical review skills, stakeholder management, and experience supporting operational functions such as customer support, fraud, payments, and workforce management.

Build and maintain scalable Java backend services for internal platforms, integrating with Salesforce and other distributed systems. Design APIs, data flows, and event-driven architectures; write tested, maintainable code; troubleshoot complex integrations; and improve reliability, observability, performance, and CI/CD practices. Contribute to internal web applications and Salesforce development as needed. Collaborate with engineers, product managers, technical program managers, and business teams in an agile environment. This is a US-based remote role.

Conduct qualitative and quantitative UX research, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and longitudinal customer metrics. Manage research operations, synthesize findings, and communicate actionable insights to product, design, engineering, marketing, commercial, and leadership stakeholders. Collaborate cross-functionally to influence product roadmaps, advocate for customer needs, improve research processes, and integrate AI into research planning, analysis, and reporting.

Lead technical strategy and architecture for Fanatics Betting and Gaming’s scalable, fault-tolerant platform. Design cross-cutting systems, guide complex initiatives across teams, establish engineering standards, resolve systemic technical risks, and improve reliability, security, performance, and operational readiness. Partner with Engineering, Product, Platform, and Security leaders while mentoring senior engineers and influencing executive-level technical decisions.

Supports the in-play sportsbook trading team by overseeing trader issues, analyzing data, interpreting probabilities, monitoring live odds and market efficiency, testing sportsbook features and trading models, and contributing to automation and AI initiatives. The role collaborates with Commercial, Marketing, Quants, Product, Engineering, Sports, and Operations teams to improve customer-focused betting strategies and experiences. Flexible evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required, along with full-time office work in Denver.

Plan and execute brand events, activations, VIP experiences, and gifting initiatives. Manage event workstreams, vendors, agencies, budgets, logistics, guest communications, and on-site execution. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, track deliverables and expenses, create project updates and recaps, and improve repeatable processes while ensuring experiences meet Fanatics Betting & Gaming brand standards.

Supports planning and execution of brand events, activations, VIP experiences, gifting initiatives, and on-site experiences. Coordinates logistics, vendors, agencies, guest materials, budgets, invoices, inventory, shipping, and event recaps while partnering with internal teams to strengthen brand presence and relationships with influencers, media, and clients.

Leads the customer experience function for a sportsbook and casino business, managing team leads, operations specialists, and agents. Uses customer insights, performance data, and operational analysis to improve support policies, resolve issues, optimize staffing, reduce friction, and influence product and business strategy. Partners cross-functionally with frontline, product, engineering, marketing, and business teams while recruiting, coaching, developing succession plans, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving customer-centric improvements.

Designs and independently tests enterprise compliance controls across Fanatics Betting & Gaming. Partners with first-line teams to translate regulatory requirements into sustainable controls, evaluates design and operating effectiveness, identifies gaps, coordinates remediation, and validates corrective actions. Develops risk-based testing plans, methodologies, workpapers, control inventories, and reports. Supports product launches, investigations, process optimization, and ongoing compliance monitoring while maintaining professional independence and constructive challenge.

Executes high-volume CRM campaigns across email, push, and in-app channels. Builds and QA tests campaigns, manages audience selection, personalization, scheduling, deployment, creative workflows, and legal approvals. Monitors live sends, resolves customer issues, maintains campaign documentation, and improves operational processes. Coordinates with Creative, Legal, Promo Operations, and Customer Service while using automation and AI tools to improve efficiency.

The Senior Security Engineer will evaluate and maintain security tools, implement SOAR capabilities, automate threat hunting and incident response, develop detection mechanisms, manage a cloud SIEM, and lead incident response activities. The role also supports cloud security, phishing awareness campaigns, secure implementation guidelines, documentation, stakeholder collaboration, and 24/7 on-call incident escalation support.

Partners with senior Engineering leaders on organizational design, leadership coaching, employee relations, talent strategy, workforce planning, and people programs. Supports employee integrity initiatives, M&A integration, AI adoption, people analytics, succession planning, and organizational culture across technical and security-focused teams. Handles sensitive investigations and cross-functional HR initiatives in regulated, globally distributed environments.

Owns close operations and financial reporting for a multi-entity betting and gaming business. Responsibilities include joint venture and non-controlling interest accounting, consolidations, intercompany eliminations, reconciliations, financial statements, US GAAP compliance, SOX controls, audits, budgeting support, and process improvements. The role also reviews journal entries, supports team development, and collaborates with finance, shared services, technical accounting, and business stakeholders.

Build and operate production data pipelines using Python, SQL, Airflow, Snowflake, and Databricks. Implement ingestion sources, DAGs, schemas, monitoring, and catalog registration; investigate and resolve pipeline issues; review code; trace data lineage; support data security, governance, and reverse ETL integrations; collaborate with stakeholders; and mentor junior data engineers.

Drive strategy and continuous improvement for GenAI customer-service agents and CX copilots. Analyze conversation data, customer and agent feedback, and operational metrics; prioritize AI roadmap initiatives; define evaluation standards; support prompt, knowledge-base, and testing strategies; run pilots; and translate technical findings into business cases and executive narratives while coordinating engineering, product, CX, compliance, legal, fraud, and payments stakeholders.

Sets long-term architecture strategy for Fanatics Core’s event-driven platform, leads cross-vertical engineering initiatives, resolves complex distributed-systems problems, mentors senior technical leaders, and establishes standards for testing, observability, incident response, and resilience. Partners with product and business executives to shape technical strategy, drive consensus, reduce technical debt, and guide platform migrations. Represents the organization through technical writing, conference talks, and open-source contributions.

Own the Fanatics ONE benefits strategy, including member tier planning, recipient allocation, budgeting, rewards catalog development, and ROI measurement. Build six- to twelve-month supply capacity through internal and third-party sourcing, manage vendors and live hospitality partners, and ensure contracted benefits are delivered. Lead a small team, establish benefit approval and delivery processes, optimize ticket and suite utilization, and provide executives with investment recommendations and performance visibility.
