The Apprenticeship program at Everett Ship Repair offers hands-on training in various trades including pipefitting, welding, and electrical work. Apprentices learn to build structures and systems on vessels, adhere to safety practices, and complete classroom training while gaining practical experience under skilled guidance.

Supervise journeymen and apprentice machinists to install, align, and fabricate shipboard equipment; ensure safety, quality, schedule, and cost targets; plan staffing, tools, and materials; coordinate with project managers, HR, estimating, and other shops; conduct toolbox meetings, training, timecard review, and apprentice development; contribute to estimating and continuous improvement.
