Manages the community business office, including accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, payroll, resident and employee records, and expense management. Supports the Executive Director while ensuring compliance with employment laws, care regulations, and organizational policies. The role requires accounting, billing, human resources, software, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills, along with compassion for elderly residents.

Supervise nursing and resident care in an assisted living and memory care community. Provide comprehensive personal care, maintain residents’ physical, social, and psychological well-being, ensure regulatory compliance, monitor health conditions, document care, develop safe and efficient care systems, and lead department employees. Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, state officials, and the public while reprioritizing tasks based on resident and community needs.

Supports senior living residents’ quality of life by coordinating and delivering group and individual activities. Assists with planning programs, events, outings, and activity calendars; encourages participation; builds positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and volunteers; and ensures activities align with residents’ social, mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs.

Supports dining services by setting and bussing tables, washing dishes, assisting cooks, completing cleaning duties, and providing excellent customer service to residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public. The role requires compassion for older adults, teamwork, dependability, effective communication, confidentiality, health compliance, and successful background checks.
