Supervise nursing and resident care in an assisted living and memory care community. Provide comprehensive personal care, maintain residents’ physical, social, and psychological well-being, ensure regulatory compliance, monitor health conditions, document care, develop safe and efficient care systems, and lead department employees. Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, state officials, and the public while reprioritizing tasks based on resident and community needs.

The Wellness Director RN oversees comprehensive personal care services for senior living residents, ensuring regulatory compliance, dignity, quality, and safety. Responsibilities include monitoring changing healthcare needs, developing care systems, coordinating resident services, and training and supervising care staff. The role also requires communication with residents, families, employees, community members, and state officials, along with managing daily priorities and departmental operations.

Supports senior living residents’ quality of life by coordinating and delivering group and individual activities. Assists with planning programs, events, outings, and activity calendars; encourages participation; builds positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and volunteers; and ensures activities align with residents’ social, mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs.
