The Release Analyst coordinates release planning and execution, manages CI/CD pipelines, enforces security compliance, and drives performance metrics for infrastructure and application releases.

Manages the Grid Implementation team and leads analysis of upcoming load, generation, and transmission changes to identify and mitigate reliability issues. Manages Release Engineering Services across CI/CD, DevOps, release planning, governance, and scope management. Leads Release Engineers and Release Train Engineers, oversees deployments, enforces NERC CIP-aligned DevSecOps controls, governs ServiceNow change processes, and owns DORA and IT change metrics. Establishes release scope baselines, controls changes, ensures requirements traceability, manages production readiness gates, and serves as the escalation authority for deployment, pipeline, scope, and emergency change decisions.

Leads engineers responsible for large-generation interconnection and modeling within the ERCOT power system. Oversees interconnection studies, modeling data, network model updates, protocol compliance, commissioning reviews, and planning databases. Interfaces with market participants, management, technical committees, regulators, and industry organizations. Supervises, hires, coaches, and develops professional staff; contributes to budgets, policy initiatives, and expert testimony on generation interconnection matters.

Lead design, architecture, development, governance, and administration of SharePoint Online, Project Online, Microsoft 365 collaboration, and Power Platform solutions. Build secure, scalable SPFx and Power Platform apps, modernize legacy sites, create governance and SDLC practices, integrate with Azure/APIs, automate administration with PowerShell, and provide senior-level troubleshooting, documentation, training, and stakeholder partnerships in a regulated energy environment.

Serve as the senior technical authority for ERCOT's ERP product suite (Workday, Cornerstone, etc.), leading cross-module architecture, integrations, reporting/analytics, security and audit compliance. Lead development of forward-looking analytical frameworks for Texas grid transformation. Apply power system simulation and mathematical optimization to plan for high inverter-based resource and large-load penetration, develop reproducible simulation workflows and automation, advise stakeholders, build external research partnerships, and propose protocol or procedure updates to enable emerging grid solutions.

The GMS Application Engineer supports the Markets Management Systems, involved in design, development, testing, and operational support for market applications.

Serves as primary ERCOT contact for Market Participants: manage relationships, facilitate registration/qualification, resolve inquiries and disputes, maintain ERCOT market protocol expertise, coordinate cross-functional communication, develop account plans, deliver training, and drive process improvements.

Lead and perform large-scale dynamic stability studies assessing generator, inverter-based, and large load behavior. Develop and validate dynamic models, analyze simulations, identify reliability risks, recommend mitigations, build automation tools (Python), support NERC/ ERCOT planning requirements, produce technical reports, and mentor engineers while collaborating with stakeholders and TSPs.

Lead engineering support for real-time electric grid operations, performing system modeling, studies, and analytics (frequency control, resources, storage, IRR). Develop tools, tune EMS functions, ensure NERC/ERCOT compliance, collaborate with market participants on protocol and guide revisions, mentor junior engineers, and support implementation of system changes to enhance grid reliability.

Oversee semi-monthly, multi-state payroll processing, timecard validation, reconciliations, tax reporting, deductions, retirement contributions, and year-end reporting. Resolve payroll discrepancies, support audits, manage payroll vendors and invoices, assist with benefits and employee inquiries, and participate in Workday Payroll testing and process updates. The role also supports onboarding, payroll compliance, operating procedures, and related HR projects.

Lead and deliver IT or business projects using established governance: develop project plans, manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, resources and testing. Coordinate technical teams, produce design and test documentation, track metrics, report status, and obtain customer acceptance while mentoring staff and applying migration and project controls.

Analyze wind and solar forecast performance, develop advanced forecasting methods (including machine learning), integrate impacts into grid operations, perform system modeling and studies, and support reliable electric system planning and operations in compliance with NERC and ERCOT standards.
