Supports daily accounting and financial reporting through journal entries, reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, close activities, statutory filings, audit support, and discrepancy resolution. The role requires foundational accounting knowledge, accuracy, organization, collaboration, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

Provides advanced deskside and Tier 3 support for computers, peripherals, software, mobile devices, and workplace technologies. Configures, deploys, images, maintains, inventories, and replaces equipment; supports Active Directory, Outlook, Exchange, patching, and endpoint technologies. Troubleshoots complex issues, improves support processes, documents recurring problems, supports audio/video systems, contributes to technical projects, and mentors team members. Occasional after-hours support and infrequent travel may be required.

Supports investment accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, statutory schedules, data-quality investigations, portfolio analysis, and month-end close activities. The role records general ledger entries, resolves discrepancies across investment systems, researches technical accounting matters, supports audits and regulatory reporting, and improves controls and workflows. Senior-level responsibilities include independently managing complex investment accounting activities, mentoring junior staff, maintaining policies, and coordinating with auditors and Investment teams.

Leads financial reporting and accounting professionals while overseeing general ledger, policy administration subledger, reinsurance, intercompany accounting, reconciliations, controls, audits, and system changes. Partners with Information Technology and business teams to improve automation, data integrity, and processes. Manages team priorities, develops employees, resolves accounting discrepancies, and supports insurance examinations. Requires significant accounting and life insurance experience, with reinsurance expertise strongly preferred.

Provide strategic IT leadership for technology teams; set and execute IT strategy, oversee enterprise initiatives from planning to delivery, manage budgets and resources, ensure governance/security/compliance, foster innovation and high-performing teams, and align technology solutions with business objectives across web, mobile, and service channels.

The Actuary will lead the valuation and modeling function, manage a team, oversee financial reporting, and ensure compliance in collaboration with various stakeholders.

Support FP&A leadership by building financial models and forecasts, performing monthly/quarterly analyses, maintaining Power BI dashboards, preparing executive and rating-agency presentations, collaborating across departments for data and investment analytics, tracking KPIs, and implementing process improvements.

Lead EquiTrust's ERM program including team leadership, risk framework development, ORSA filings, risk appetite/tolerance setting, enterprise risk monitoring, executive and Board reporting, and cross-functional risk governance to inform strategic decision-making.
