Lead PLSA's finance function: own budgeting, forecasting, grant accounting/compliance, audit readiness, and build workflows for venture investment operations while managing external accounting partners and financial systems.

Manage backend fundraising operations including processing gifts and pledges, maintaining Salesforce data integrity, pulling reports, coordinating proposal calendar and donor meeting logistics, supporting multi-channel appeals and event data operations, and tracking team action items to ensure smooth development workflows and accurate donor stewardship.

Lead public affairs strategy and communications to advance foundation policy and ballot priorities. Manage government relations, partnerships, advocacy campaigns, brand and external communications, and stakeholder engagement across Oregon and SW Washington. Support leadership and staff engagement, coordinate consultants, and represent NWHF publicly.

Lead planning, implementation, and evaluation of organizing, civic engagement, and leadership development programs. Coordinate campaigns, events, community outreach, partner relationships, data and CRM systems, budgeting, communications, and reporting. Supervise volunteers as assigned, travel within New Mexico and occasionally out-of-state, and support organizational strategy, fundraising, and team collaboration.

The Development Director leads fundraising strategies, conducts donor outreach, writes proposals, ensures systems for fundraising, and supports organizational leadership.
