Lead site-based Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) activities for an e-waste recycling plant, ensuring legal compliance, ISO accreditation, SEPA reporting, risk assessments, audits, training, incident management, contractor inductions, and emergency response while supporting operational leadership.

Plan and schedule daily transport and collection activities for non-hazardous waste and recycling, optimising routes and fleet utilisation. Ensure compliance with driver hours, road and environmental regulations, maintain transport records, coordinate with customer services, drivers, operations and fleet teams, support maintenance scheduling, monitor operational performance, and promote health, safety and environmental standards.

Support the Financial Controller with month-end close, management accounts, variance analysis, cost and inventory analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow monitoring, statutory compliance and audit support. Drive process improvements, maintain strong financial controls and provide operational teams with actionable financial insight.

Sort, dismantle, and process small domestic appliances and electronic waste. Operate shredding, baling, and processing machinery, perform quality checks, follow health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintain housekeeping, and collaborate with team members to meet production targets.

Support delivery and operations of environmental and wastewater projects: assist project managers, coordinate stakeholders and contractors, supervise site activities, perform environmental monitoring and nutrient management planning, draft permitting and planning applications, specify equipment, resolve operational issues, contribute to business development and R&D.

Operate a counterbalance forklift to move, load/unload and store materials across the Grantham site. Support production, recycling and dispatch activities, perform daily inspections, follow safety and environmental procedures, assist stock control and housekeeping, and work shifts to meet operational targets.

Collect and manually load waste batteries from customer sites across the UK, ensuring safe transport and compliance with hazardous waste and ADR regulations. Complete transport and compliance paperwork, perform daily vehicle checks, report incidents, and provide excellent customer service while working with driver mates and operations to complete routes safely and efficiently.

Manage AR inbox, process customer payments (BACS, cheques, cards), match remittances to invoices, prepare cheque lodgements, cover reception two days weekly, support AR team and produce ad-hoc reports; work hybrid with minimum two days onsite in Portlaoise.

Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation across a waste treatment site. Perform routine housekeeping, spill response, waste segregation, basic manual handling, and assist Operators with site readiness and plant clean-downs. Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures, complete basic records, and support team training and compliance activities to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Operate a telehandler to move, load and unload waste and SDA materials, support pre-pick lines, maintain stock/area organisation, perform equipment checks, follow HSE procedures, and collaborate with site teams to meet throughput targets.

Provide hands-on operational support across site functions including facilities, logistics, transport, vehicle and plant operations. Operate HGVs and specialist equipment, perform inspections and fault finding, support waste processing and site maintenance, maintain housekeeping and HSE compliance, coordinate transport and materials movement, and collaborate with teams to ensure safe, efficient site continuity.

The General Operative will manage the recycling and processing of Small Domestic Appliances, including sorting, dismantling, and machine operation, while adhering to safety regulations.

Support the SHEQ Manager to develop and implement HSE plans, perform internal audits and inspections, manage training and PPE, investigate incidents and implement lessons learned, ensure legislative compliance, and coordinate statutory testing and accreditation activities.
