Operate mobile plant and recycling equipment safely in a waste-processing facility. Sort and separate waste, recover recyclable materials, process glass, manage stock, load vehicles, inspect and clean machinery, report defects, maintain safe working areas, and comply with health, safety, environmental, waste, and site-licence requirements. The role requires telehandler and 360 wheeled material re-handler qualifications, with training provided on specialised plant.

The General Operative will manage the recycling and processing of Small Domestic Appliances, including sorting, dismantling, and machine operation, while adhering to safety regulations.
