Disassemble large manufacturing equipment per procedures, prepare and verify parts for welding/machining, read and follow blueprints, perform in-process quality checks, operate shop equipment including overhead cranes, and work safely handling heavy components and shop contaminants.

Set up, program, operate, and maintain CNC machines (VBM/HBM) to produce precision hydro turbine components. Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T, select tooling, edit programs, optimize feeds/speeds, perform inspections, and collaborate with engineering and production to meet quality, safety, and schedule targets.

Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs (G-code) for lathes and mills from blueprints; select tooling and fixtures; set up and adjust machines; test and troubleshoot programs and machine issues; maintain tooling documentation and collaborate with engineers, machinists, and vendors to ensure accurate, high-quality part production.

Operate manual lathes to machine parts to blueprint specifications: set speeds/feeds, secure workpieces, monitor cutting, perform measurements with micrometers and calipers, compute dimensions, complete inspection and quality paperwork, and collaborate with engineers and inspectors.

Lay out, assemble, tack-weld and fit flat and formed plate components per engineering drawings. Perform hot/cold forming, precision measuring, crane lifts (up to 25 tons), paint parts, maintain cleanliness/safety, and support assembly of complex turbine and pump components. Use blueprint reading, tooling setup, and lean improvement practices to support efficient fabrication operations.

Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers for heavy manufacturing materials and services. Develop sourcing strategies, monitor supplier KPIs, support logistics/customs, use ERP and Power BI for purchasing and reporting, and ensure ISO 9001 purchasing compliance.
