Design, develop, and maintain Emesent’s Cortex robotics software stack, including C++ modules, Python tooling, automated tests, CI/CD pipelines, Docker workflows, and Linux deployments. Contribute to architecture, hardware integration, navigation, mapping, perception, simulation, and field validation. Mentor engineers, lead technical reviews, collaborate across teams, document decisions, and support customer escalations. The role requires strong software engineering practices and may involve robotics, embedded systems, and autonomy technologies.

Administers and improves Emesent’s hybrid corporate IT environment across Windows, Linux, Microsoft 365, VMware, AWS, networking, identity, endpoints, and engineering compute. Provides L2/L3 escalation support, manages access and security controls, maintains disaster recovery and business continuity, oversees patching and vulnerability management, and supports cybersecurity governance. The role also drives documentation, change management, compliance, automation, and secure adoption of AI tools and new technologies.

Leads the Data Processing engineering group across technical direction, architecture, delivery, quality, support, and people management. Oversees SLAM and LiDAR processing systems spanning applied research, production software, cloud processing, autonomy, calibration, and reliability. Partners with Product, QA, Commercial, Manufacturing, and peer engineering managers to deliver predictable commitments, improve architecture, develop engineers, manage incidents, and establish stronger engineering-management practices.

Own the consolidated financial plan, five-year strategic model, budgets, forecasts, cash-flow and runway modelling, scenario analysis, business cases, KPI reporting, and executive/investor analysis. Partner with product, operations, manufacturing, commercial, accounting, and revenue operations teams to provide financially rigorous insights for strategic decisions. The role reports to the CFO and may grow into commercial finance leadership.

Own the SLAM product strategy and roadmap, prioritize and deliver measurable SLAM improvements, improve SLAM team execution cadence, benchmark and communicate SLAM advantages to buyers, and develop deep industry expertise to shape roadmap and GTM.

Hands-on QC Coordinator responsible for incoming parts inspection, in-process and outgoing finished-goods QC, packing verification, FAIs, NCR/ECN management, NPI support, calibration records, and QMS/ISO 9001 support while coordinating with production, engineering, supply chain and logistics.

Lead and define Emesent's enterprise and product cybersecurity program. Own posture, governance, risk and assurance, audit and certification readiness (CMMC, NIST, ISO27001, IRAP), and influence engineering, product and IT to embed security and build company-wide capability.
